What's the worst song you ever heard?...
Scaparri replied to Movieguy's topic in Random, Random, Random
^Hanson sucked pretty bad. They were one big joke. However, I must admit, they released a single last summer called "Penny & Me" that wasn't too bad. Did I just admit that!?!? I'm not sure what to put my vote towards. There are so many good nominees. Or should I say bad nominees? I don't know. I let everybody pick mine for me from the following: - "Barbie Girl" by Aqua - "Macarena" by Los Del Rio - Anything from Gwen Stefani's solo album - "The Reason" by Hoobastank Scott "Still in awe that I admitted I like a Hanson song" P. -

Bloomington, IN. It's probably the epitome of a college town. It's a nice medium-sized town in southern Indiana that is home to a school that loves to party. The second picture probably represents the town best. Indiana is known for three things...racing, corn, and basketball! We love our basketball, and boy do we hate our coach. Basketball is taken very seriously here. Drive through a neighborhood in Bloomington and I guarantee you'll see a basketball goal at every other or every third house. taken from www.opt.indiana.edu As the saying around town goes... "Bloomington- A drinking town with a basketball problem."

Photo TR: Robb & Elissa's Silver Doller City Trip...
Scaparri replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Awesome! Yeah, I kind think it was a bit pointless to leave the lift hill in there but whatever. It's just hit me that this is the first coaster to have both a launch and a lift hill. Some pointless trivia. Anyway! I can't wait to see the pics and hear about Celebration City. Ozark Wildcat looks awesome, but you never hear too much about it. -
Best Drop Ride!!!
Scaparri replied to coaster_shorty's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, I enjoy S&S towers and stuff, but they don't get the job done like Intamin towers do. I always have to switch back and forth on my favorite. Acrophobia at SFOG is just crazy and amazing, but at the same time, DZ at PKI is insane. Pretty much, the longer drop, the better. -
If you were a movie, what would you be rated?
Scaparri replied to maliboomer's topic in Random, Random, Random
I'm straight rated R. Iit doesn't take a lot to be rated R these days. Just a few spontaneous drops of the F-bomb or crude sexual humor will land you there. -
I'm a bit scared of spiders and the not being successful in life.

Best Six Flags Rides
Scaparri replied to vertgforces's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Of the parks I've been to (SFSL, SFGAm, SFKK, SFOG) My favorites would be the following: Raging Bull Mr. Freeze Viper (SFGAm) Mindbender (SFOG) Acrophobia Georgia Cyclone Batman clones Can I count Dominator since it was built under Six Flags ownership? Adding SFOT and SFDL this year! Hopefully one or two more if possible! -
Poll: Favorite Inversion?
Scaparri replied to timetrial3141592's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hmm, this is a toughy. B&M Zero-G rolls are awesome, but I'm going to have to go with the Top Hat. It's such an amazing inversion. I love it on Mr. Freeze when coming back through the ride, you've lost so much momentum that you actually hang upside-down from your lap bar. It's insane. -
POLL: Favorite board

I like all of them, but I have to go with Theme Parks, Roller Coaster & Donkeys. -
Queue-jumping for dollars
Scaparri replied to shepp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think the system is fair, but has some flaws. I can relate this to my other passions…racing and sports. When I go to a race or game, everybody has the option to pay extra for a better seat, which I’ve always (and still do) think is completely fair. You can make your experience as good as you want it to be. It is essential the same concept with services such as the Q-bot. However! I think the system still has its flaws. Such a service should be much more advertised. In sports or racing, when you look for tickets, be it online or through mail order, every seat and it’s price is listed right in front of you, giving you the option to choose “how good” your experience is. If you want to spend more money, you get a better seat. I think this should be the case with systems such as the Q-bot. When you look online, at the ticket box, on a pamphlet, etc, I think they should have a similar pricing system right there in front of you. Such a service should be widely known. Then, I think it will be a fair option. -
Six Flags Over Texas
Scaparri replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I will be making my inaugural visit to SFOT this summer as well. I'm pretty excited. It looks like an awesome park and I've heard nothing but good things about it. I can't wait! -
^That.....is HILARIOUS! Simply stunning. 9/10 Here's my puppy dog. She's a miniature poodle. Yeah, don't lie...you're diggin' the Mickey Mouse bed sheets. Ya gotta love leavin' your main bed sheets in the dorm room at college.

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
Scaparri replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^I will be working in the park that day. I can't wait to ride MaxAir though. I love Huss Giant Frisbees. They are easily my favorite flat rides. I just hope they run a program that is just as good, if not better, than Delirium's at PKI. I would love to see more of these pop up around the country. -
Coasters In Need Of Paint
Scaparri replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm going to have to rip on SFKK here. Chang gets my number one vote. This ride just looks hidious. The paint is starting to flake off all over the ride. Not too mention the paint is so incredibly faded from its original bright colors. I've attached a picture I took a few weeks ago. The camera makes this thing look good. Pardon the blurriness of the photo. I took the photo with the camera as zoomed as possible. T2 is also in really bad need of a paint job. If I were Six Flags, I'd be embarrassed to call T2 one of my rides, not only for the ride experience, but the appearance. Instead of being black, the ride is black, red, rust, and green. See the photos I've attached. -
My three closest water parks are Hurricane Bay (SFKK), Splashin' Safari (HW), and Boomerang Bay PKI. Hurricane Bay- it's a waste of time to me. It's really undersized and lacks in the slide department. They are adding the ProSlide Tornado this year, but in my opinion, those slides are greatly overrated. I wish the park had the space to add some serious body slides. Splashin' Safari- this is a really fun water park, however, lately it's lost its grandeur due to the crowds. Holiday World's attendance has shot up and the park isn't quite ready for it. During my last visit through the week, every slide (except for the two original tube slides) had a wait that was over an hour. That's just too long for the slides that they have. This is a place that I'd also like to see add a few freefall body slides. Boomerang Bay- I haven't actually been to this park yet, but it has to be better than the old Water World. Just for the record, my all time favorite water park would have to be Blizzard Beach -Scott "maybe I slammed those water parks too much" Parrish

What foods do you eat on this site?
Scaparri replied to benzo41190's topic in Random, Random, Random
That is an awesome combination! I need to try that sometime. But the question is, what flavor of ramen do you eat? Anyway, I mostly drink things like juice or milk, but if I'm ever eating, it's always cereal. -
Gwen Stefani! Most annoying voice EVER. It would also be nice if Green Day's songs weren't played so much on the radio.

NES Gameboy SNES N64 PS1 PS2 The PS2 is the only thing I ever play now days, and even that is rare. I miss playing my PS2! It just sits dormant in my closet 'til I find time to actually play it.

Project Tumble Weed?
Scaparri replied to benzo41190's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That is impossible. Shockwave was scrapped last fall. There were even pictures floating around the net that showed this. -
I drive a 96' Honda Prelude fourbanger and I love it! It's a sporty little car and the gas mileage is amazing! I usually get at least 35mpg on the highway. I've never really figured out what I get on city driving, but I think it's somewhere close to 25-30. The car is also incredibly reliable. I've never had any trouble with it. It also has a lot of get up and go. It has a lot of power for a four-cylinder. The only downfall about the car is that it only takes premium gas, but when compared to most V6s and definately V8s, the car is still cheaper because of that awesome mileage.
