  1. I really like what Six Flags is doing. It appears that they are really trying to improve things. It seems that anytime that song is playing somewhere, somebody around me mentions that its the "Six Flags Song". You have to have good advertisement and appeal to draw in guests. Plus, the few Six Flags parks I went to last year, I saw improvements at. I think they are finally starting to see the big picture. Let's hope.
  2. I know somebody that found bloody gauze in there chicken nugget years ago. Seems like Wendy's has a issue with biohazards.
  3. True story, the speech teacher's name at the elementary school I went to was Mrs. Dick. Her husband's name??....Harry. The honest truth. Also, my dad informed once that one of his friend's names is Richard Head. Seriously, what were their parents thinking Have any of you that have been to SFKK ever noticed the tobacco store just north of the park on I-65? It's called Cox's Smokers.
  4. My theory is that there just isn't really anything that special about them anymore. I personally think they pretty much feel like you're sitting down only higher. Nevertheless, with more unique coasters on the market such as flying, floorless, and inverted, the demand just isn't there anymore.
  5. I will admit, Michael Jackson is one weird, messed up person, but I had to do a research paper over this and I actually don't think he did it. Yeah, he doesn't have a whole lot going for him, but there are a lot of interesting facts that go against the parent of the boy. So in all honesty, I actualyl don't think he did it.
  6. I'm not sure what to think. I like the new approach taken with Hydra, but I was kind of hoping for something a little bigger. Can't win everytime I guess. I can't really judge whether it is going to be forceless or not. I'm not the most season B&M rider, so I honestly haven't really experienced a "forceless" Beemer. I guess we'll just have to see. As for the question, I think I'm going to have to go with B&M. I've loved pretty much every Intamin I've been on, but they don't have the intensity that I crave like what can be experienced on the Batmans and Raptor.
  7. OK, these definately make me more excited about this coaster. I'll be honest, when this ride was announced, I was a little bummed. Then I saw the video on the PKI website and that excited me a little bit more. These pictures pretty much made me determine that I HAVE to make a visit ti PKI this year. This thing is definately looking pretty cool.
  8. My vote is Georgia Cyclone. That ride is insane. It is the single most intense woodie I have ever experienced. I wish it gave a ride that was a little less rough, but I'm not going to complain too much.
  9. My single favorite band is by far O.A.R. I love those guys. They make amazing music and put on an amazing show. Other favorites include: Less Than Jake Howie Day Marc Broussard The Format Jimmy Buffet Sum 41 Single favorite song is "Delicate Few" by O.A.R. I don't even know what to say about this. If you could play this song in the head rests of Millennium Force, I would experience ultimate bliss. Other favorites: "Science of Selling Yourself Short"- Less Than Jake "Save Me"- Marc Broussard Every song from O.A.R. "Wait, Wait, Wait"- The Format "Fat Lip"- Sum 41 "Collide"- Howie Day "School Boy Heart"- Jimmy Buffet
  10. This ride just keeps sounding and looking better and better. I might have to try and make a weekend trip in the fall to Branson. I already have Ozark Wildcat and WildFire calling my name and now this beast. I'm jealous Robb! -Scott "family ride my butt" Parrish
  11. I frequent this site the most, but I also go to Screamscape on update days for the news and rumors, and I go to rcdb quite a bit. I visit Thrillnetwork every once in a while. I used to go there a lot, but not so much anymore. I really like it here at TPR. Every now and then I will also check out Westcoaster.
  12. "Meaning" by Gavin DeGraw
  13. Make all the jokes you want, but one of my favorite things to do on Mantis and Chang is to actually lift my feet off of the floor right after the inclined loop. You really get whipped on the direction change following the inclined loop and when the train hits the break run. Try it if you dare. Fellas, be careful though  . Of course, you would think you would get crunched on Acro, but I personally didn't have any problems on it, nor have I ever heard of anybody else having problems.
  14. From one Gator (at heart) to another, happy birthday Elissa Happy birthday to Tiki Steve as well.
  15. There is something about small, goofy, compact loopers that I'm attracted to. I would really like to ride this coaster. Same deal with Daemonen at Tivoli Gardens. It's a small, weird, compact looper and I want to ride it so bad!
  16. Viper at SFGAm as well as Georgia Cyclone at SFOG. These rides are insane! They are both so intense. Cyclone is a little bit more understandable that it doesn't get so much mention because it really gives you a thorough beating, but it is a gem. It's actually my favorite woodie. Viper is an amazing ride as well. So incredibly intense. The lateral g's on this thing or mindblowing.
  17. In 2002, there was an earthquake with an epicenter about 2 hours from my hometown that registered somewhere around a 5 or a 6. I don't remember the exact strength, but it was weird. And yes, you might take note of my location. It was quite strange. It actually shook my house even with the distance between where I live and where the epicenter was. I never thought an earthquake would ever strike where I live.
  18. Yeah, I guess that is where I'm missing out. I just started watching the show halfway through this season. Some people in my dorm own the entire first season so I might have to bust it out and get caught up. haha. Another show I really like but didn't get to see a lot of is Drawn Together on Comedy Central. That show is downright hilarious.
  19. NCAA Football 2005 for PS2. That was back in January though . I don't get to play video games much anymore. It's spring break this week though so I might have to bust out the PS2.
  20. I'd really like to ride the Pinfari multi-loopers. I'm fascinated by these rides. I also really want to ride Venus at Space World in Japan. It's the Maurer Sohne looper. It's another ride that fascinates me.
  21. I must admit, I thoroughly enjoy The OC. Yes, go ahead and laugh. I like the show a lot though . I don't really watch tv much now that I'm in college, but that is one show I always try to see.
  22. I had breakfast for lunch at Cracker Barrel today... Chicken Fried Chicken, two eggs over easy, hashbrown casserole, biscuits with blackberry preserves, and lemonade. It was ridiculously good. Later in the day, I went to Cold Stone and got some "At The Cocoa Banana Cabana." I love that place.
  23. I'm a pre-med student studying to become an optometrist/opthalmologist. As for my current "occupation", I donate plasma . haha. Sucks, but it's a little bit of cash in the pocket that doesn't require a great deal of time. As for what I would be if money didn't matter? Well, my dream job has always been to be a racer. My family was never well off or anything so I was never able to even get into karting or anything. I would also love to be a character like Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck at Disney World. It'd be great to be able to make kids so happy all of the time like that. I would think that would be one of the greatest jobs. I'm sure it probably sucks after a while, being in that suit and all. That would be an awesome job though.
  24. Jones Creme Soda! So good! Jones Green Apple Soda is also really good. I like root beer a lot too. To be honest though, I rarely drink soda. I'm a juice guy. And if I'm ever out to eat, then I go with lemonade.
  25. Because I grew up primarily in the 90's I have to stick with the original reality show, Real World. I used to love Road Rules (no longer running) back in the day before the members could get kicked off for failing missions. Same with Real World. I still enjoy Real World every now and then though.[/b]
