  1. Of all the RCTs, RCT 2 is still my overall favorite by far. RCT3 has some cool aspects about it, but I don't know, it just doesn't get the job done for me like RCT2 does. Anyway, yeah, I voted for RCT.
  2. ^Oh my gosh that is too good!! I saw that and busted out laughing. My roommate just turned around and stared at me with a puzzled look. That is too great Shepp.
  3. Well, I know that posters from Cedar Point can be found here: http://www.cfmarketplaces.com/acb/stores/1/product1.aspx?SID=1&Product_ID=200&Category_ID=36 and here: http://www.cfmarketplaces.com/acb/stores/1/category.aspx?SID=1&Category_ID=31& and here: http://www.cfmarketplaces.com/acb/stores/1/category.aspx?SID=1&Category_ID=30& They are some really cool posters if you ask me.
  4. Yeah, I had heard about this ride last year but could never find a picture of it. It's pretty neat to finally see a picture of it. It's definately odd.
  5. I donate plasma. OK! So its not an occupation! It gives me a little change in my pocket during the school year. I'm also a ride op at Cedar Point.

  7. Hey Elissa, could you change mine to "You've got serious thrill issues Dude"? Thanks a lot.
  8. So yesterday I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom in my dorm and I looked over and saw an empty condom wrapper sitting on the ledge in front of the mirror. I was quite shocked to see what the name of the condom was. I googled the name (it didn't have the brand on the wrapper) and found a picture that I've attached: Thought I'd share that with you guys. It's kind of along the lines of that "Best Soda Ever" thread with the Millennium Force soda. Picture taken from trojancondoms.com
  9. I must say, after watching video of this thing testing, my excitement for the ride depreciated greatly. I know the ride only goes 40mph, but I was expecting it to negotiate the track at a faster pace. A bit disappointing.
  10. 1. Top Thrill Dragster 1. Millennium Force 3. Raptor 4. Wicked Twister 5. Magnum XL-200 6. Mantis 7. Gemini 8. Corkscrew 9. Blue Streak 10. Wildcat 11. Disaster Transport 12. Iron Dragon 13. Cedar Creek Mine Ride 14. Mean Streak 15. Woodstock's Express 16. Jr. Gemini
  11. I have a really hard time picking a favorite. I like Premier, Intamin, and B&M. There are aspects about each that I love. Premier- sheer intensity of the rides as well as the ingenious design B&M- Intensity, smoothness Intamin- overall experience.
  12. I'm in central Indiana and 87 fluctuates between $2 and $2.20. Unfortunately, my car only takes premium so I pay an exra twenty cents per gallon. I get incredible gas mileage though so I'm not going to complain too much.
  13. I really like Scream's at SFMM. Don't ask me why. I also like Steel Venom's (VF) a lot. As far as the ugliest goes? SFMM takes this one too with Flashback. That thing is hideous looking. I also
  14. Technically, my first car was a 1984 Ford Tempo that a bought for $100. A few days later, I bought a '92 Ford Thunderbird. Here's the list of cars I've had: 1984 Ford Tempo 1992 Ford Thunderbird 1989 Honda Accord 1997 Chevy Monte Carlo 1996 Honda Prelude (current car)
  15. Speaking of which, that video is great! That is definately one of my faves that are downloadable. Great music mixed with a cool video that even includes a fair share of humor. Loved it Robb. Makes me wish I had a camera and editing program to make videos of my own (minus the on-ride of course).
  16. I'll be up front, I've never been on Storm Runner, but I can tell you that RnRC's launch is the most gentle launch I've ever experienced, and I've been on a fair share of launched coasters. As for the drop, I can't really help you there, because it takes a lot to get that feeling in my stomach anymore. Very few coasters do it for me.
  17. Yoshi's sticky tongue and expanding throat would devastate everybody.
  18. I'm not sure. My favorite Six Flags park as a whole is SFGAm, but the overall nicest park would be SFOG. It's the prettiest SF park I've been to. Granted, I have only been to 4 Six Flags parks (5 if you count SFWOA). I guess I should go with SFOG then.
  19. The one ride that I miss the most is Shockwave from SFGAm. I honestly really enjoyed that ride. To me, it was just an essential part of the park. SUF is nice, but I still miss Shockwave. I really think Iron Wolf needs to be scrapped. Iron Wolf was once an incredible ride, but those days are long gone. Six Flags needs to either take care of the Deja Vus so that they are reliable rides, or take a blow torch to them. They've been sitting their too long with not enough operation time... at least SFOG's and SFGAm's has. Lastly, Flashback at SFMM. Same deal with the Deja Vus. Get it running or lose it.
  20. I've become a huge soccer fan since coming to IU. We have the highest win percentage in NCAA soccer history and have seven national championships (only behind St. Louis U., who won most of theirs in the earlier days). But yeah, I've become a big fan. The games here are a blast. I have a new appreciation for the sport. Go IU Soccer!!!! Here's a picture taken of me and Jerry Yeagley two days ago at one of the spring exhibitions. Jerry is responsible for bringing IU soccer to the level it is at. He won 6 of IU's seven national championships.
  21. That seems to be the general consensus. Am I sensing a new thread? For straight men, what men would you do? Girls, what girls? Gay men, what women, etc? . That is great!!!! That definately cracked me up!! Anyway... I'm a guy who likes girls.
  22. An ever-changing three-way: Millennium Force Top Thrill Dragster Phantom's Revenge
  23. 1. American Pie 2. American Pie 2 3. Finding Nemo 4. Road Trip 5. A Knight's Tale 6. Captain Ron 7. Napoleon Dynamite 8. Cool Runnings 9. Butterfly Effect 10. Collateral
  24. O.A.R.- 34th & 8th O.A.R.- In Between Now and Then Marc Broussard- Carencro Jimmy Buffet- Meet Me in Margaritaville The Format- Interventions & Lullabies Jay-Z & Linkin Park- Collision Course Howie Day- Stop All the World Now Less Than Jake- Hello Rockview O.A.R.- Anytime Now Robert Randolph & The Family Band- Unclassified I guess if I had to pick an all-time favorite, it would be one of the first two.
  25. Call me insensitive, but it's starting to bother me how over-restrained rides are. Even if there has been an accident, it seems a bit over the edge to me to put OTSRs on shoot the chutes and coaster that don't go upside-down. It seems a bit over the edge to me sometimes to put OTSRs on some rides that do go upside-down. When an accident happens, is there nothing that can be done to improve the lap bars? I don't know, am I alone on this feeling?
