Theme Park Review's "Halloween in Orlando" 2009
Moose replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
^Wait, since you would never be unfancy or unclassy, Truthful Piers was not truthful? I wonder exactly what you said that was an untruth -
Did you TiVo it while you were in Florida? I had a Glee marathon when I got back since i hadn't watched three episodes.

That boat ride was Epic. I had no idea how great it would be when we got on it. It was fun to watch the look on everyone's faces when they were still waiting to get into the park and we were already leaving. More evidence of just how much VIP treatment you get with TPR Tours. -
For people in the US, I was able to get my tickets cheaper at AAA than from Disney. Although both places listed the same price, AAA includes the tax in their price and I didn't have to pay for shipping since I could pick up the ticket at my local office. Additionally, you can modify your ticket while at the parks by going to guest relations. I added the waterpark (and more!) option for $50 and got the same number of waterpark admissions as the length of my ticket (10 Day no expiration thanks to following Elissa's advice) verses $42 for a one day ticket.

Zipped pockets are the way to go on most coasters (with buttoned and velcro closures a close second and third). After losing my wallet on a coaster in Spain I make sure stuff is always in a secured pocket, vertical lift or not.

Mmm I never knew Puck had such a great voice.

LAst night I went to see the touring production of Avenue Q. I absolutely loved it. The music was so much fun and oh so true. It also made me realize I need to go and get new glasses because I couldnt see the actors faces from my relatively close seats.

Worst Coaster Experience
Moose replied to airforcekid's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Scott (krazekiddd) and I were waiting in line for Cheetah Chase at BGT when we were blessed with the sight of the actions of a rather large woman and her 12 year old (I assume) son(again assumed). This mother repeatedly took her sons head, and face first shoved him into her breasts and shook his head around. Again and again and again this happened, every time the kid seemed to thouroughly enjoy it and excitedly mashed his face in her breasts. At some point the kid even lifted her shirt, or put his hands up her shirt (I can't be sure, I was facing away in disgust.) This went on for the entire time we were in the queue. (about 15min) -

^ An extra night's stay before a trip is in no way required, there is already a night before the first park included. Many people on the international trips stay an additional night in case of flight delays, to help get over jet lag, and allow a little sightseeing time. -
Rather than do something like the hospital suggestion, you may be better off showing some dedication, getting a job and using the money to buy a ticket. Or even hopefully putting it towards a ticket with your parents also paying part of it. And yes, I am putting myself in his shoes. In HS, I wanted to go on a class trip. My parents told me if I wanted to go, I had to raise half the funds. I got a job on weekends and saved enough to do it. Though you are right, Wicked is not boring. I am bringing my entire family to see it for Christmas.

Same! Though for me it is depositS. I'm looking forward to another year of spectacularly planned trips. -
I am astonished that Steve did a maze and am very glad he survived it without having a heart attack.

What would rides be like on the moon?
Moose replied to Thrillrider15's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The structural integrity of cheese depends entirely on the type of the cheese. I.E. Parmesan is much more able to withstand the forces put on it from rides than a goat cheese. mmmm, cheese. -

I questioned waiting for the front (4 train wait with THREE train operation) but that ride was amazing. It absolutely blew me away with its nonstop intensity. Emily's squealing was great too! -

The work of art that was your door is poorly represented by that picture. It is a travesty that your door did not have a more prominant location since I am sure very few people made it all the way out to the back of the house 21. -

Both the unmasking tour and the RIP tour were amazing. It was great to see all the work and detail that go into making these mazes that will be missed without doingthe tours. Knowing the stories made the houses scarier. I'm still cowering from the chucky maze. -
Couple Accused of Assult After Getting Small Fries
Moose replied to Airtime&Gravity's topic in Random, Random, Random
While the small fries are quite a bit smaller than a large, and really not enough to feed two adults, I would think asking to get the correct size would be more productive than hurling wet floor signs. Shows you how little I know. -
