I generally prefer riding coasters in the back.
However if the coaster is rough, I'll try and find the magic seat.
During ERT I'll try and find a seat in the middle that way I can continuously ride.
I don't necessarily think distance dictates your home park.
Canobie is 1.5 hours, Compounce and SFNE are both 2, but I go to Compounce way more than anywhere else, so it's my home park.
I discovered this year that Canobie Lake Park is actually the closest park to me by a few minutes, but I still consider Lake Compounce to be my home park.
I'm not exactly sure which it was, but I know it was at Busch Gardens Tampa, and I suspect it was python. Istill remember how scared I was that I would fall out on the lift and the arrow predrop.
It's sort of sad that my first coaster and first coaster with inversions are both gone. I guess I'm getting old
If this is indeed their idea of hype, and I don't put it past them, i expect it could backfire. "I don't want to ride wingrider 1, a piece of it was damaged when they dropped it in the water"
I'm surprised that only Cheetah Hunt had a line. Two years ago every coaster had a crazy line once except for Kumba, and that was only because the crowds hadn't reached the back of the park.
I loved Silver Dollar Ciry and everyone tells me Dollywood is even nicer, so I'm sure I'll love this park when I finally get to it. Thanks for this detailed look!
It's an interesting counterpoint to the fastpass system. Are Disney slowly going to move away from fastpasses or is this to make those in a standby line feel less like second class guests?
