I don't see how it can cycle and load at the same time. In order for the whole gimmick of the ride to work, there needs to be some forward motion of the passenger "cars" which I don't see being possible while the other half loads.
Several Haunts in the Northeast have had to close for the last few nights. I hope it's not too much of a financial hardship since I'm sure these would have been some of their busiest.
I would have thought I would feel the same way about preferring a loop being outside, but after riding Turbine a few years ago, I think that it being enclosed is even better. I couldn't really tell when we'd hit the loop, so it added a surprise factor as well.
I remember them doing something with tickets like Disney's system the first year Millennium Force was open, but much more low tech. They handed out so many for a given time. It worked, but since it's a park I rarely visit, I would much rather have a Q-bot system.
It looks like the site is directly adjacent to the empty area behind Terminator (or whatever it's called). Does anyone know if they can build in that area or if they are indeed linked.
^ my thoughts exactly. I don't know much (If anything) about the island but I would think the populace would be limited and I suspect that the tourists are more interstes in the beach than a theme park.
We shall see if this one goes anywhere.
