I'm not the biggest fans of old school ferris wheels but was absolutely fine with the London Eye, I'm guessing this will be similar experience. Had anyone Ben on the Eye (or sim style wheel) and been freaked out by the height?

I'm glad I decided to TiVo this. I finally got around to watching it and it is easily the best new comedy. As far as other new shows, I also love me some Revenge.

I loved the flumes and they seemed so intertwined with Michael Jackson. I'm not sure how much real estate will be freed up from their demise.

I have a feeling this track will only be used when the forces on the track justify it. It's beefy as hell. It probably also couldn't be bent to the tight radii that the ZacSpin requires. I'm loving the ground hugging turns!

It looks like they are still doing foundation work, I assume this won't go up nearly as quickly as Dolly's did where all the foundation work was seemingly done before track started arriving on site.

I went shopping Friday afternoon because I was doing work on the house and needed a new tool. I ended up getting it half off and a few other deals at Harbor Freight and then continued onto Target and Christmas Tree Shops (a local chain). I didn't have any item in mind so I wasn't disappointed, I got few items for myself and a few gifts.

I'm more worried that they will take this time to remove the problematic effects rather than repairing. I hope my pessimism is proven wrong. (crosses fingers)

Thanks for the update and braving the mud! The pictures of the lift give me a small amount of vertigo, I also love how there is no support at the apex of the lift hill making it seem that much taller and more precarious. Does anyone know if those trees are staying?

^Hoarding is ok if you have cools stuff and can find all your animals. Larry, I know you got a special tour, is this place worth a visit without the VIP treatment you received?

That water park looks like it will pack a lot of unique rides into a small area. I hope this goes well for the park.

Hopefully they only fix the problems with the facade but I admit I'm a bit worried they will remove some of the effects which make this ride awesome.

I recently got an e-mail from someone who tells me he and his business partner are working on just such a project. I need to do a little more research into this and I'll get back to you all once I can confirm some fact. I think I know how Beemer Boy felt during his quest to find the Kick Boodie ride. Very intriguing. My favorite rides as a kid were always the dark rides. I wish more existed in the US.
