Sorry Robb I knew the original source of the photos wasn't RCPro, but I couldn't find a press release with the photos. When I said the photos were from RCPro, I meant that that is where I took them from, and I didn't intend to mean that they were RCPro's photos. I figured it would get sorted out later with me finding the actual source of the photos. So thanks for correcting me.

For those here who like water parks, SplashTacular will debut two new slide desings at IAAPA. I'm not a big water park person, but these new slides look like a lot of fun. Hopefully they start to appear at water parks soon. I'm sure we won't have to wait long to see one built since I'm sure one of the parks in the Dells or Holiday World will be one of the first to build one. Link Pictures:

Ocean Park Discussion Thread
Airtime&Gravity replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Interesting, Ocean Park looks like it is a pretty good park, and hopefully these new parks get built. Although, I don't think China needs any new parks at the moment, but the other possible locations sound like they could be good. Link -

I wouldn't mind if Great America had an off year. Some of the buildings could use some paint, and it would be nice if the park went around fixing the areas that need work. I've read good things about the Glow in the Dark Parade, o hopefully Great America's is just as good. I hope that V2 rumor is true. The moment the holding brake does its job is still one of the scariest coaster moments IMO.

Airtime&Gravity replied to BelgianGuy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Wow, very impressive coaster, and as said before, the buildings are great. Actually, the whole park looks great, and the level of detail is amazing. Good job Airtime-maybe I should reinstall RCT2-&Gravity -

Interesting back-story, and the theme does sound interesting. Hopefully the back-story is incorporated into the theming, instead of being just a story. The version at Dollywood looks great, and hopefully Silver Dollar City's version is as good as, if not better than Dollywood's. Airtime-I really need to get to Silver Dollar City-&Gravity

Point Plaza[RCT2]
Airtime&Gravity replied to HLM's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Wow, very impressive, and even more amazing that only the in game scenery is being used. Great job The size of the dark ride is really impressive. I don't think I have the patience to create one that large with that much detail. Very nice park so far, and keep up the good work. -

Most Photogenic Coasters
Airtime&Gravity replied to darklingscribe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I also don't think Volcano looks photogenic. Sure it is cool looking, but it isn't photogenic. I forgot about it in my first post, but Mine Train at Ocean Park is just beautiful. The location is great, the view is great, and the ride itself looks great. -
Your Favorite Ride of The 1970's
Airtime&Gravity replied to duffgun's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Gemini and Whizzer are both really good coasters. Demon can also be good if you ride in one of the refurbished trains. However, Screamin Eagle at SFSTL is my favorite coaster from the 70s. It is so simple, but it is so much fun with plenty of airtime over all the hills. -

Nathan's Six Flags Great America Photo Emporium!
Airtime&Gravity replied to kumba830's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Done You know, I wasn't going to do it, but since you brought it up... Why did I have to leave early and miss the best part of the day... Oh well, I had fun in the time I was there, so thanks again for making me not be a single rider. -

Nathan's Six Flags Great America Photo Emporium!
Airtime&Gravity replied to kumba830's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice trip report, and I had a great time with everyone. From taking over Spacely's Sprocket Rockets and Jester's Wild Ride to finally riding Giant Drop this year, I had a great time. I'm upset I had to leave early as the day was so much fun. Oh well, there is always next season, and hopefully I won't have to leave after only half a day. Also, what was the leaf war I read about in the SFGAM thread? -
Luckily I have not. Have you ridden a S&S coaster yet? Edit, Wow, that was a fast reply to the above post.

Shivering Timbers has the best airtime of any coaster I've ridden. While El Toro has more extreme air, it isn't very re-rideable, and I had to stop riding after a few consecutive rides.. While Shivering Timbers airtime is less intense, there was plenty of airtime on every hill once the ride had been running for a few hours. There seemed to be more airtime than El Toro overall, and unlike El Toro, I was easily able to ride Shivering Timbers again and again. Demon also has a great moment of airtime on the first drop if you are riding in the back. I forgot about this on Sunday, so the sudden and somewhat intense moment of airtime was pretty thrilling.

Wow, this sounds a lot more impressive than I thought. I thought it would be just a big re-tracking, but it sounds like it will be a completely new coaster. Now for the important part, who is doing this project? The price seems a little low for GCI, so that means Gravity Group unless it is being done in house with some local company. Now, that wouldn't necessarily be bad as that is what happened with Viper, but I'd rather see this be built by an established company.
