  1. It looks like a Big F up to me.....B&M has never put supports that close together and the Gap??.............. JEFF
  2. Great photo TR! I love PKI so similar yet so different from PKD I would like to see your pics James I love Paramount's idea of "Late Spring", Volcano opened in "Late Spring".........August 1st 1998
  3. Man looks Awesome...I love GCI's I am sad this one is so far away JEFF
  4. While I am not sure of the exact reason....I can tell you that is BS...Busch just yanks the seats off of the 1st 2 rows for ALL their inverts for the camera...it is not a special wheel assembly for that....., (see pic of Montu below) there are NO onboard controls...the train has metal that passes a "limit switch" that tells the Ride Computer (Not On Board!) where the train is and calculate how fast it got there and applies the brakes...accordingly The train would easily make it around the course without the 0 car Like Fanatic said ALL B&Ms have it....the "0" car spins laterally but not vertically for whatever reason.next time you are in the 2nd seat of a B&M invert see for yourself or a good trick is to hold your feet straight out...the first row stays the same distance in front of you through the loops....not so in any other row. I have been searching for the answer for 9 years and still have not found a logical one that makes any sense....IMO it is cosmetic...and has no real importance. IMO it is ugly and kills the speed effect in the 1st row Edit: Come to think about I did hear a semi-good reason once as it was for extra cusion in collisions and Ironically it had one opening weekend in 1998 JEFF peeps in 3rd row, empty 2nd row and camera on 1st row same setup on alp
  5. I have never ridden one...but they all look very good IMO and they have to be better than their steel coasters (not counting launch and the penis hill of course) JEFF
  6. 2 rides I love that get no love from anybody else Vortex and Adventure Express at PKI 2 of the best coasters in their class..especially in AE early years.....great effects JEFF
  7. If I had to pick 1....Shivering Timbers Just too boring...airtime is fun and all but give me a turn....please. JEFF
  8. Just curious to see if any of you think that your Home park is the best. It is weird to me cause I love PKD and I grew up there but it is not really even close to the top of my list of Favorite parks. (But I know some people think it is the best) I think it is just hard to think a place is superior when you go there so much more than the others. Of course if the only park you have ever been to is your home park it is gonna be your favorite...but that is common sense. What do you guys think? JEFF
  9. He is lucky he can still see.....stupidity at its finest JEFF
  10. Well Cedar Point.com has quite a few you can check Robb's link pages many sites have them alot of pictures from sites can be used as wallpaper if you have the right resolution. Just look around and search and you will find them JEFF

I have a ton of great coaster Wallpapers and could never pick one so this tool is perfect if you have alot of fav's It is very easy to use and you can adjust it to change every day, week, minute....whenever. Enjoy, JEFF wallpick20.zip Coaster Wallpaper changer
  12. I agree Homer I think a Sonic tie in to a coaster would be great...I mean come on...we have seen Waynes World tied in to a coaster JEFF
  13. I agree with the reply's...lighten up dude....if you were popular they would make fun of you...I would take it as a compliment (maybe thats just me) JEFF
  14. Does anybody find it weird that the "little" park always upkeep their Woodies MUCH MUCH better than the Corporate parks with their huge budgets. It just seems like the big parks do not care about that much about them like they are not a draw (or popular) so why bother. JEFF
  15. Man I would love to play one of these...it looks so cool, If only it came out 15 years ago, they would be everywhere JEFF
  16. yea I saw the Auditions to every other season but lost interest after that. A new season deserves it's own thread especially with this show because last years has nothing to do with this years. (who wants to fish through 7 pages of irrealevance (sp?)) To me I think Ace and Paris are the next to go probably Ace I cannot believe he made it through this week with that AWFUL "we will rock you" It does irk me that it is also very much a popularity contest in every way. (sex sells) JEFF
  17. Me and my Wife are pretty into it this year (thanks to Tivo) and I am still watching just to hear Chris sing each week. I kinda want Chris to come in 2nd so he is not bound to AI's contract and make him sing what they want. Chris and Elliot are my favorite, I thought Mandisa was by far and away the best female singer but she got voted off last week (probably cause of her weight) I think Simon is going a little crazy lately (telling them one thing 1 week then the opposite next week)....and Paula is a retard (she loves everyone!!!!) What do you guys think? JEFF
  18. "This is the Clitorous (sp?) as you can see it looks like a tropical plant of some sort" JEFF
  19. here are alot of pics taken in May 1998 See YELLOW:the ride and the pics of T2 were the last day of it being a red coaster and this is when Twisted "Sisters" was still under construction JEFF YELLOW:the ride last day of red Thunder Run the old Boomerang

  22. Back from the dead!! Here is my MKDS friend code 008649 421661 looking forward to racing JEFF
  23. When I rode opening day it seemed faster than the last 2 years when they just had it inch over the top but the shuffling is still very bad after the hill and the ending just sucks......PKD please put magnetic brakes on it (65mph to a dead stop on fin brakes is NOT fun) EVERY XLC train when dispatched goes to the "scale track" where it is weighed then the computer calculates the air pressure needed to inch it over the top...not like Intamins...Volcano rides by yourself (as in you are the only one on the train) are UNBELIEVABLE...I hit 79mph befoe on Volcano. JEFF
  24. Myself and a couple others already gave him pics I even made a photo tribute post when the news was first announced but nobody cared http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23225 MB Pavilion pics JEFF
  25. Well working it is not exactly fun all the time....sure it has perks (happy sleeping passengers,we do not have to do anything except the slow orders/temporary speed limits and following CSX's rules) Now for the bad it is an all nighter (10pm-6am then cathcing a ride home in 4 hours at 10am) NORMALLY it is about a 5 hour trip from Richmond VA to Florence SC but not on the AOE they do not pay priority royalties to CSX so a 5 hour trip takes between 8-9 hours if lucky and it gets pretty boring. JEFF
