While I admit this game is very awesome and it is my new crack one thing bugs me to no end. I think it is ridiculous that when you play against somebody they get different blocks than you..in the original Gameboy version it was fair and even, you both got the same things in the same order. In the DS version it seems Nintendo is doing this handicapped thing AGAIN. This is turning into a rant but all Nintendo games have a HUGE handicap system built in to let everybody win....which is fine in certain cases but you should definitely have an OPTION to turn it off...In Tetris DS Both players should agree on a different set or same set order...to me same set is fair....not how they do it now...OK rant over... What do you other Tetris players think about this??? JEFF

Call me selfish but I prefer going to parks either by myself or with 1 other person....I hate going with a bunch of people and nobody agreeing on where to go especially if it is at a park I do not go to too often (waste of time)...PKD is different cause I go all the time and do not mind doing what other people want. I usually just want to ride the thrill rides or film. JEFF

reduce the bitrate..in windows media format. I can get about 4min and 10 seconds on a 1000 kb per second...512kbs..8min 20 seconds and so on sorry I cannot help you with any compression stuff...I just use WMM I thought your supersonic POV was good. JEFF

Of course I Love Trains You can't spend half your life on em if you don't love them. I was always obsessed with trains when I was little..I had a really big trainset when I was 10 that took up the whole living room (HO scale) but sadly I never took pics....when I was 7 my love for trains transitioned from trains to coasters. I never watched thomas when I was little but my son LOVES trains he screams CHOO CHOO's when he sees them and when he wants to watch them...every 2 hours . Soon he will ride his first coaster he calls them COO COO's V-2 dude...is anything in your caboose..like a dude room or something? JEFF

Nice TR and thanks for confirming the usual...another year and the only new thing about BGW is a new sign pointing you the way. I can usually find a 100 little new improvements at PKD every opening day but nothing at BGW. Maybe I miss the old days of BGW too much...maybe next year I can have a reason to go more than once how long where the lines and how many trains were running? JEFF

Man I had to really think hard about this one...I have been on all of them in North America and here is my take on each one Ninja...I was ready to make this the #1 sus. when I saw video of it....but riding it just was not as fun as it looked on video for some reason. Vortex at PCW is awesome...the setting (lake turn) and non stop speed are fantastic and this is probably the only case where I prefer a shorter train as opposed to Top Gun (7 car)...Vortex (6 car) does not hang on the 2nd hill..but Top Gun does. maintaining the speed through the ride. Big Bad Wolf is still amazing to me...the theming in the first section is top notch and makes you feel like you are going ALOT faster than you actually are and the Drop and Change of direction at the bottom of the big hill is one of the best coaster moments ever. BBW gets my vote. JEFF

I have something to add as well.... Turn OFF your AUTO-FOCUS especially when using a wide angle lens. I have botched many a good POVs by leaving auto-focus on (the camera gets confused by all the "action" it is capturing and tries to pick a single object to focus on...usually it always goes blurry when you aim towards the sky.) Also my POV cam is built for onrides cause it is easy to hold with 2 hands and easily stays in your wastepack while filming. (that is why I bought it) I have to agree with Robb on the holding the camera against the car...most likely you will beat the Sit out the camera and break it. JEFF

While I love the View at Cedar Point and they defintely win in the states IMO. But I just cannot argue with this view at Ocean park (and I too believed BGW deserved a spot up there maybe the mods can add it.....Elissa?) JEFF

My advice to you Bowserjoe is to make the site FOR YOU...do not make it to please everyone else..like people said....you need to have a solid site for a while before forums are popular...this site was up for like 4 years before the forums...so you need to give it time. JEFF

if you can handle Storm Runner then do not even worry about Apollo! Apollo is nowhere near as intense as Storm Runner. It is hard to explain but Apollo is just a relaxing ride....fun but not thrilling. plus seeing all of the 8 year olds loving it and re-riding should tell you that it is not scary. JEFF

how about...."All I want is a Chainlift!" PKD has not had a new major coaster with a chain since 1994 and counting!!!! also I am curious to know what you would have named me...... JEFF

Most enthusiasts I know (especially the older ones) like Flat (not banked) turns on wooden coasters but I prefer High banked turns (I Love GCIs ) Most CCI coasters have slight banking that has alot of laterals but I usually find them uncomfortable (especially with G trains). Question is geared more towards fast turns and not slow turns What is your general preference on a wooden coaster? JEFF

I am very surprised that after 23 votes...blue Streak does not have a vote..it is still a great ride...and by far the best wood there...figured a die hard wood lover would have voted for that.....come on MS has a vote JEFF
