My RCT2 MEGA park
pkdcoaster replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
haha..I started counting and said screw it and let the screenshot speak for itself... note the one Intamin Giga that circles the entire perimeter of the place..something like 8 min i think. I am so mad at myself cause I had a newer park similar to this one..but lost it in a hard drive crash JEFF -
Here is my mega park I have been working on and adding to ever since it came out. mostly recreations...mostly some original designs NO theming or anything just rides and coasters park is open and has peeps Enjoy, JEFF mega.SV6

Well, Usually when I film at a Park it is JUST Coasters, my friends (and wife) do not really like to be filmed so I usually just get coasters cause that is what I like to watch (I never had intentions on doing this when it was filmed) This is what I was planning on doing... 3-disc set- disc 1 ALL POVs and nothing but raw POVs disc 2 all offboard stuff from all over the place with some music too disc 3 all my Music Videos I have made with WMM Probably take me a while to compile disc 2 but I have wanted to do this for me for a long time. Busch Gardens Name Changes
pkdcoaster replied to stew560's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Where did you read "The Dark Country"? it was the Dark Continent...you have to wonder what their reasons in naming the park that in the first place was...is it in reference to Africans? JEFF -

Realy cool..Iron Dragon POV from 1987..WOW that area sure has changed...I just wish there was a way to save them without buying Quicktime PRO Wow and Mean Streaks POV from 1991..no brakes and very fast... you can almost smell the fresh wood I wish all parks did this JEFF -
Hey Robb, wanna hear something funny?
pkdcoaster replied to BrownStreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!

Busch Gardens Name Changes
pkdcoaster replied to stew560's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I do not see why they do not go back to the Original names. BGW- The Old Country BGT- The Dark Continent IMO I think the new name change is more confusing to the public...cause now they think the Busch Gardens they are looking up is IN Europe or Africa! (note the photoshoped pic of Apollo! looks like a dive machine!) JEFF -

Best American B&M Inverted coaster
pkdcoaster replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
/\ I agree about Great Bear... I love the helix and 1st drop and the inversons are sweet but it just kills me with the "Intermission" between EVERYTHING its like WOW...ok take a break.....WOW.....take a break...way too much flat track (I understand B&M had to work with what HP gave them) I just hate the "coffee breaks" between the elements. JEFF -
I will answer the ones I have been on and this is my opinion Silver Comet-Front Superman: ROS, SFDL-Front Predator, SFDL-Front Superman: ROS, SFA-front Wild One, SFA-Front Roar, SFA-Equal Steel force-Back Talon-Front Thunderhawk-Front Wildcat-Front Lightning Racer-Equal Great Bear-Front Comet-Equal Twister-Front Phoenix-Front This is judged based on airtime and forces and view (inverts) JEFF

I think I will do one..thank you to those who posted input I will make a DVD of just RAW POVs and they will be much higher quality than the ones posted on the forum. I do not think it will sell really well, but I am sure some of you would like a high quality POV DVD (as opposed to just burning my choppy ones )and I have been meaning to make one for me for a while. look for it within the next couple months JEFF

I understand it is your contest and your rules...... but I do not see when the video was taken is relevant to the quality and entertainment value of the video. Most of my footage is from 1997-2002, Then I had a lot of personal things happen that prevented me from going to many parks and taking videos. I am making a video now from my IOA trip from 2000 with my best buds and I have alot of good stuff in it and think it might be able contend but because it was filmed in 2000 it would be disqualified. It just does not make sense to me if it is a quality video that entertained you. But like I said it is your contest and your rules. It just seems like an unneccessary rule to me. Maybe this rule can be changed for next year's contest. posted with no disrespect to your great contest, JEFF

B&M Looper and Invert drops
pkdcoaster replied to smallish's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Most are similar but some really stand out to me Alpengeist with no lift trim in the back is AWESOME.. big G's Dominator has a great 1st drop (cause of the straight track for lift trim) Raptor also has a uniquely good 1st drop JEFF -
Can you please ellaborate why?....I hate it when people say...that thing sucks and then do not give reasons. I find it suitable for everything I need to do plus its free with XP. JEFF
