I can help I have pics from Valleyfair Mich. adv. Moreys SFSTL first Michigans Adventure with a Shiny new Shivering Timbers JEFF -
I hope you are kidding Robb, I know you are not a big Dog fan but you can not blame a dog for having natural instincts. It is NOT his fault I am not a big rodent fan but I would never say something like that geez I have had many pets that co-existed great together mainly cats and dogs and my bird whom hitches a ride on my dogs back when he is lazy. I do understand that rodents and larger animals are not the best pairing though and people should do more research. Being a Dog lover I found that remark really unneccassary and Ignorant (if serious) BTW woah_killa I am sorry for your loss I have lost my cat of 8 years and my dog of the last 15 years in the last 6 months and it is very hard. I do every once and a while to make sure I did not miss anything buried in the forums and I like to see what park pictures and stuff you have and the ones you are missing (Hercules!!!! ) Once again Robb I really admire your drive to make and keep this the VERY best coaster site on the net. You are one of the few site owners that listens to its thousands of mindless followers JEFF -

I am the Weirdo I always check the Amatuer Video forum first thn Donkeys, random, ask alvey I have all the coaster Video Games but that board is odd to me cause everybody only posts pics of their parks and coasters and that annoys me to no end, so usually I check it once a week. I usually visit the site about 5 times a day and skim for good stuff I love photo TR's and pretty much anything with pictures, I like the polls and I wish more people would participate in them. I very much agree with Wes that there needs to be a "never ending pointless game forum" cause there are too many of them and I think it is kinda a waste of time since nobody is gonna look at page 58 of the what song are you listening to thread. and this site is my Homepage EDIT: hahaha- I just realized when all of these posts were made and it was before the video forum existed...maybe I am still the weirdo though hope this helps Robb, JEFF -

Lemon Drop (a.k.a. Torpedo Tubes) always had 2 slides that is such a fun set of slides too...especially when a dry mom is walking in front of it and a 400+ lb dude comes slamming into the pool and soaks them That is actually the only water ride I have seen that dumps into a 10ft pool..most pools never exceed 4-6ft JEFF -
Woo Hoo. Got it love it....feels so old yet so new I pretty much agree with everything Homer said so I will not repeat but it is defintely a must buy for DS owners...cannot wait to beat it and play some more to find everything. BTW Circuit City has it for $27.99 thru Saturday (5-20-06) as opposed to everywhere else having it for $34.99 Just a heads up, JEFF

I agree all round probably THE best waterpark I have seen that is not in Disney World. Do you know when they took out the 3rd slide (my favorite) on the Whip? JEFF -

Oh man here we go first Chuck thanks for driving me crazy I knew the original name was not Vortex but I remember it was a kick ass name and I was HIGHLY pissed when they changed it..so after going through my bin of maps and stuff (oh man the stuff I found ) It was originally called "Sonic Whip" and I noticed in your picture that it looks like they took out the third slide on it (figures). I have not been in many years but I love and hate what Busch has done to the place. first the hate, The Amazon (now called Wild thing) was my second favorite slide it was just extremely fast and had these WILD changes of directions with drops, then Busch puts brakes on the ride and KILLS it. (did the same thing on jet scream) Also taking out the best speed slide on Sonic whip is another F U to guest that already wait in HUGE lines in the summer. BUT they have added many attractions in the 13 years they have had the place and Aquazoid is a great ride and the theme is spectacular now, I Absolutely love the 50's Beach theme and soundtrack make the park so nice. The park is definetly more attractive since the take over. oh yea one more thing, Chuck do you remember when Rampage had the Double sleds? I think they were only there for one year 1994 I believe and people had the Wildest Wipeouts from the force of that huge sled with 2 people hitting the water like that...truly an attraction that was fun to watch. I will have to do more digging to find a pic of the double sleds but I am pretty sure it was in one of the brochures. OK I am done for now, and thanks for the TR maybe I will go next year in May or Sep. when the crowds are as light as they were when you were there. JEFF third slide on right and original name and paint job -
YES.... i have been trying to upload a video (crazy I know ) and it gives me an FTP error title says "general error" and in the box it says this Could not connect to FTP Server: 'ftp.themeparkreview.com'. Please check your FTP-Settings. JEFF

Yea seems like an excuse to me too....but at least they had a sign out. I wish more parks had signs that said how many cars/trains were running. JEFF -

No The weight station is right after you are dispatched and you sit for 10 seconds...then you are advanced by tires through all the brakes you see in the first pic. JEFF -

pkdcoaster replied to jALIg's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
OK it has fin brakes up the tower to slow its descent backwards then it rolls past the launch area to the brakes you see before the launch area. Interestingly the brakes on the tower can HOLD the train on the hill..it did this pretty frquently its 1st year...but I have not seen it do it since. It differs from the Intamins cause the brakes are before the launch area See pics JEFF
