100% agreed. The ride absolutely hauls and it's feels like you're going even faster at night. I think I prefer the front, but the drop in the back is surprisingly above average. It's just a really fun ride and let's get real, the walk back to it isn't that bad.

Your Jimmy Buffet attire is very appropriate at Coney Island because Riverbend Music Center is right next door where in Cincinnati, the only bands to return year after year are: Dave Matthews Band (and he hates playing here because it's just an underage drunken pukefest screaming "PLAY CRASH INTO ME") aaaaaaand Jimmy Buffet It would have been a perfect world if he was playing that night you were there. He recently opened a Margaritaville at the casino on the Cincy side. Great report as always!

Just came here to say I visited Montreal (the Tree) last week and also made a visit for La Baquise for poutine. Yelp reviews don't mean shit unless Bill's given approval. Yep, totally not just a mess. Delicious and magically crispy fries that don't wilt under the gravy and cheese. Also, I didn't go to LaRonde.

Didn't know this version had a new room with Harley! Pretty cool! These rides are fantastic and should be the most celebrated clone in the country. I'm sure JL will have a steady long line at MM.

say what? what we've come to know as "boardwalk culture" in the US was invented in east coast places such as atlantic city, coney island, ocean city, etc. it's absolutely not a uniquely cali or cali-originated thing. But I still think Railblazer.... You're typing "I think" a lot, but sure are adamant about how you have the right information. I don't care if your guesses end up being correct or not but can you at least do some research or bring some facts if you're going to argue for pages?

I haven't been this year, but I had a fun time going last year during my 3 day trip. Only made the visit because it was included in the ticket and had 3 days at the park. The new slides fill the"intense" void, but it's pretty much a mediocre collection of body and tube slides. They're all fun, but compared to the modern day water park none of the slides stand out. I believe we spent like, 90-120 minutes? Lazy river and wave pool were okay, too. We went Sun-Tues during the last week of every day operation. We hit up early ride time for the intamins and went to the water park when it opened at 11 or whatever. No lines at all.

In my experiences, Gatekeeper and XFlight are bouncy in the back seat. You kinda get shimmied down in the seat further so the restraints can give you a big ol hug.

You don't sound too fun. Behemoth and the great flats are half a day! You didn't even mention the awesome 300' giga or the rare suspended coaster. Wonderland is a very nice scenic park to simply walk through for a first timer. Your post is an unfounded downer.

The recent posts are why I didn't get a pass this year. I might go once in the fall, but it's a park that has become difficult to have fun at without a FP (or even with a FP). I will say the waterpark is probably my favorite along with Splashin Safari. I don't think you can buy just admission to thee water park, haha. If they had a water coaster, I think they'd have the full catelog from Proslide.

Going to be up in Toronto for vaca, but just don't think I'm going to get up there. Behemoth looks fun and the flats are ubique but nothing is really convincing me to spend a half day there.

Another great report! The park seemed to have a really solid line up even before Wicked Cyclone, but now it's one of those "dude, just book a trip already" type of parks imo. Can't wait to read the rest!

Great report! Looks like a fantastic time in NYC. Of course, the highlight of my trip was being able to do a Scott's pizza tour I had been wanting to go on one since you guys originally reported years ago. The arcade looks tops. I love Tapper! Definitely taking note on the cookie dough spot...gotta try that next time I'm in town.

Eagle didn't do anything for, either. Barely left my seat. You will probably live longer since you didn't ride Ninja. I didn't think the Boss was that bad, either! Freeze is fantastic. I wish it had been cloned more. Happy to hear you didn't have a bad time with their food service - during my visit we opted for starvation. Only advice I can give you for next visit is ...go to the City Museum for half the day instead of the park! And Bogarts BBQ is right around the corner from there...

Hope they can figure out the mechanical issues and the wait times soon. The park looks gorgeous! How long have they had water running through the pipes? Have they only had water running a couple months? No idea what it takes to get a waterpark approved but I haven't experienced any slides being shut down outside of staffing issues.

Just had a beautiful visit to the park [9am to noon, haha...I've got an island to get to!]. Limited photos since I left the phone in the locker. The park looks great. There are even entertainers around the park in character! Electro Spin is crazy! Whew. Kind of like a choas ride. Intimidator was just fine! The extra twisty bits were fun and I'm in the minority of loving the front over the back. If I closed my eyes I wouldn't be able to tell if I was on Diamondback or Intimidator. Ffffuuuuuuuurrrrrrrryyyyyyy! This is such a fun ride. I will take the low to the ground transitions over airtime hills all day erry day. I'm impressed with how quickly you climb the lift for a chain lift. Is it the best ride in the world? Go and decide for yourself. Carowinds has a winner here and I hope future hyper/giga designs take notes from this ride. I like it a lot. Afterburn is still my park favorite. The trees have REALLY GROWN IN AROUND THIS RIDE! The flat spin should be illegal. I love this ride. I love it. I may be a little sentimental here...but I was excited they still have the "clear for take off" upon exiting the station. Epic first drop, love the little twist after the loop, the zero g is perfect (but I haven't rode Kumba so what do I know), and there's no push/pull to the ride at all. The whole train is just a blur. Oh also there's a truck currently parked directly under Fury's first drop so it makes for a pretty good scare as you pull out 10ft above it, haha. Big shout out to Doug for being a great friend and making our day excellent.

The bartender is representing Cedar Point, and that type of person does not belong in a park that's supposed to be helping everyone have the best day of their year. I hope the take action on this. As someone who is from Ohio, I hate that you had to feel like you couldn't be yourself at the park. You should be able to be yourself in all states/bars/public places. Sorry those awful people cut your day short.
