Same here. And it's amazing that the GP talk about it. During visits to Dollywood and Holiday World I over heard conversations about how Thunderhead/Raven are "so rough" and they just don't know how good they have it, haha.

Maybe I was high off the gas fumes, but I had a great visit in summer of 2015. I didn't find Hades super rough. I only got one ride in due to the god awful operations, so maybe I was lucky? Zeus was one of the worst rides I have ever been on - up there with Son of Beast, Hurler, Dinn woodies. Cyclops was amazing and I found the go-carts to be really underrated. I never pay to go on them or make trips to indoor cart tracks, but damn the ones they have are aweeeeesooooommmeee. I wouldn't pay more than 20 bucks to visit the park since the operations are so shoddy. Went in with low low low expectations and had a fun time. I'm not rushing to go back there since I have all the credits.

Way to slow down the page load. I'm going to Carowinds next week! Haven't been since 2004 so I am very excited to have Afterburn rip my legs off and test the Fury-fever hype. Electro-Spin looks pretty cool, too! Oh and there is some hyper coaster as well..

Leave it to Henry to derail the RMC layout study in the CP thread. I'm also enjoying the fact that the ride specs haven't been announced yet. Shout out to all those collaborating to piece together the layout of the coaster. This is seriously why TPR is the best forum out there. I can't imagine what we'll be looking at a month out from now.

TT's mini helix and tunneled drop really surprised me. I must've missed the POV's or something, but I think those two quirky bits really elevated the ride.

Or how about looking at it from Intamin's side. The ride was a flop. Prove that STR was a once time thing and re-build a great flume without trying to make it state of the art. I could see how this route would seriously eff with the GP since we just saw the flume ride torn down in 2006, a new one built...what 2014? Torn down last year...and then a new one go up

I'm not just saying this because I'm biased towards Log Flumes, I agree 100% and that's pretty much the only hole in their ride lineup right now. They have a ridiculous coaster collection and next year will only reinforce that, they have an great flat ride collection (by American corporate park standards), they have 2 drenching water rides but they REALLY need water ride to cool you off without soaking you. They also need a family ride with mass appeal and a 42 inch height requirement since all of their family coasters are 48 inches now. A Log Flume is an obvious choice for Cedar Point. And it would add a water ride that could be kept open through September. During my visit last year, the rapids ride was already closed to make way for the Haunt attraction and it was 90+*F out the whole time. We skipped the giant chute the chute because it's you get absolutely drenched. A solid 8 minute log flume with a couple decently tall drops would be great. I'm sure the capacity would be excellent as well. I love all of the coasters, but I'd love to have more relaxing options outside of Cedar Downs, Skyride, and Wheel/Train.

What land are they clearing behind Banshee? Do you mean way up the hill, nowhere near anything? Aside from that the land is pretty much already "clear" isn't it? Personally I wouldn't expect anything major at this park for awhile. That land has been worn for a long time. I wouldn't call it "being cleared" unless they're actually doing active work. They use that area for storing stuff and there's some old building/greenhouse looking thing back there that's from the Zoo days I believe.

The Harbin park with the SLC with new track design (Its got its own layout and track now, can they really be called knock off anymore?) doesn't officially open until June but it is currently soft opening. not seen any reviews yet. Here's an update from Wanda Guangzhou and their dueling launched invert/sitdown ride. Expected although not confirmed to be a Premier rides design it seems to use the same forwards, backwards, forwards launch system we have seen on rides like Soarin Dragon, Gold Rush and Star Trek as well as utilizing a over under loop track kind of like YOLOcoaster at SFMM but with inverted track around the sitdown. That's a pretty impressive idea, I hope it comes to life. I'd love to follow that construction. We've done interlocking loops...let's do loop around loop!

Yeah that was hilarious. Obviously we didn't take her up on that offer but plenty of people did. I have to admit, being stuck on a hypercoaster brake run in the middle of the woods on a 29 degree night in January is way more fun than I would have imagined. Ugh, it needs to be Holiday in the Park again... like now. Must have been related to Napoleon Dynamite.

I mean, I love Schlitterbahn....but Wild Wadi looks like heaven. The fact that you can use the master blaster system to get around, ride a bunch of slides and it'd be difficult to repeat your previous trip is amazing. The views look great! Did you enjoy Wild Wadi or Yas Island more?

I think I liked your out of park photos the most in this update! Really good work, and excellent story telling as always.

Love the unique color scheme and the elements being used so far. This ride will be stellar!
