Rush at Thorpe Park, also did not take too long to be built. At the start of the season around 20th March 05, only the concrete footers were in. Around early May 05 the ride was built & opened late June I think!

I'm happy to do any coaster, shot or drop tower. I've even done the sky coaster at Oakwood. The only ride I can think of that I'd be scared to do would be those Star Flyers :shock:

Is it just me :shock: or does the track & train look kinda look like Arrow or Vekoma, what coaster has been scrapped recently? Perhaps they have taken parts of a scrapped coaster and made this mutant

I voted for Black Mamba. It was a tough choice between that coaster & Speed Monster. Black Mamba just won because it's a B&M & I love B&M inverters. I really hope I can get on both next year Paul 'Don't really care about Stealth that much' Chapman

Same here for me, I like them both when it comes to coasters. I don't mind heights now, mind you I don't think I could do one of those crazy Star Flyers that Robb & Elissa did in Hansa Park :shock:

Yeah I've known about this coaster for some time. The park has removed '7 Picos' - a Schwarzkopf Wildcat to put in this coaster. I thought the coaster was to be called Acropolis or something like that! I guess the park has changed there minds I'm visiting the park in a couple of weeks time, so I'll take some construction pictures or something Paul 'I'll attempt to do another TR report too' Chapman

A good TR, but I got to disagree with you regarding Colossus. Yes it's a bit bumpy & some vibrations in places I can understand it having 'technical issues' would affect how you feel about the ride, I've been on many a coaster that's broken down & has made me less impressed of that coaster. Air at Alton Towers comes to mind But theres no 'head banging' on Colossus, so comparing it to a sucky Arrow coaster is a bit mean :shock: Paul 'Colossus does have 10 inversions remember' Chapman
