Skycoasters - Question about them.....
buttonman700 replied to nihtro's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Over the years there have been a couple of inncedents where flight staff have pulled some bone headed stunts. I am not a liberty to discuss. Over all, the skycoaster is the safest ride there is, it's not the GP that gets hurt, it's staff screwing off. Staff on any ride get bored and might look for 'NEW' ways to ride, and then they get hurt. I could go on for hours about park safety sorry, it's what I do during the summer. -
Skycoasters - Question about them.....
buttonman700 replied to nihtro's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^The only other thing he might be doing is adjusting the cover for the carabeners. However all that should have been taken care of prior to lifting him up to the launch position. Screwing around on a skycoaster just makes my hair stand on end, too many people have ben seriously hurt screwing off on a skycoaster! (We have the number 3 skycoster in our park nad one of the few portables ever made.) -
Great thread.. I'll add a few of my favs.

We both dig the new BSG. have bought the DVD sets for both the first and second season (even though the split the second seson into two boxed sets!) It's nice to see a show that takes a few risks, and thi one does just that, take the opening shots from season 3... whoa! If you're not a BSG fan, but like good sci-fi this is for you.

McCammon's "A Boys Life" is by far one of my favorite books of all times. The Stand is great, So's The Shining. Clive Barkers Weave World is good fun, twisted but good. -

Zonga, Thriller, Taz
buttonman700 replied to buttonman700's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ We are looking for portability as well as a good ride. A boomerang offers neither. As far as the Bullet, I am looking into it. Not sure if is portable? I want to thank you all for taking the time to respond. Ed Roberts Thrill-Ville USA -
S&S Sansei Discussion Thread
buttonman700 replied to Coaster Joe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Glad to hear this! We need companies like this around to help keep things fresh and exciting. Look forward to many years of S&S. that and where would we get parts for our Froghopper? Ed -
Greetings TPR, I am the safety coordinator from Thrill-Ville USA, a small family owned amusement park just outside Salem Oregon. I am seeking your input and opinions about “Zonga”, “Taz Texas Tornado”, “Thriller”. What are your thoughts and impressions of this ride? • What did you think of the ride? • What did you hear the general public say about the ride? • Those of you that may have ridden it has Thriller, did the shoulder harnesses give you any grief? • Was the ride experience okay? • Has anyone here ridden the ride in all three of its’ incarnations? I’d be curious to hear what you have to say. Thank you for your input, Ed Roberts Thrill-Ville USA http://www.thrillvilleusa.homestead.com
