  3. Downloaded Google earth yesterday, and all I can say is wow! It's a great tool for teachig geography, and a fun way to look up parks (still hunting for SFGA, it is in Jasckson right? I just wish all areas on te globe were clear, I can look at Portland, but Salem is all fuzzy. Anyone know why this is? I highly reccommend giving it a try!
  4. Wally are there any online pics of #3? the inside of #4 is very nice, #6, ummmm nope. I wouldn't want to be right on the bike path like that. and the yard seems smallish.
  5. There is snow inthe movie? It's not, but we really liked the movie, much more than Polar Express.
  6. I've been collecting pin back buttons since I was 10, do for 35 years and now have over 40,000 in the collection. I am working on publishing a coffee table style book, and putting up a web site documenting the collection. (just bought 750 more today from e-bay!) I also gladly take donations to the collection. If anyone has any buttons they dont want or doubles just sitting around...
  7. What are the specs on these house? # of rooms, bathrooms, square footage, etc... And are they in location where you are comfortable moving te family too? We bought our first house two years ago, 120k for three bedrooms two bathrooms, family room and living room, right around 1980 square feet, property taxes are about 1,800 a year. It took us for friggin ever to makeup our minds. but we love the place and are glad we did it. Happy hunting!

  13. From Screamscape - News Update - (11/1/05) I’ve just been informed this evening that Steve Urbanowicz, coaster historian and author of The Roller Coaster Lover’s Companion and the Cheapskates Guide To Theme Parks passed away Friday evening. If you watched the Kingda Ka special on National Geographic’s MegaStructures earlier this week, you may have seen him. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've met Steve seemed to be a nice guy... My prayers are with his family tonight.

  16. I've seen both: Florida - Pros - seating is nice, sound is great. the show itself is fine, just wish the pirate ship and mark twain were a bit more realistic! Cons - You'd better get there early for a good seat! Too staged. Pyro stuff is very limited. The queues to get in can be a bit overwhelming, if not daunting. California - Pros - Show magically appears from nowhere! Pyro works better here, not limited to the staged area, there's something about having the real pirate ship and the real Mark Twian rolling down stream and not a fake version as found in the Florida show! Cons - NO place to sit! well not like in Florida! The show takes place along the rivers of America and the traffic jams are horrible! Again get here early or you'll miss out on the good spots. Over all both shows are up to disney standards. Both offer a little bit of wow and magic. Both shows offer something different, so if you've seen one don't miss the other just because you've seen the other!
  17. In all seriousness I WANT THE CD! come on K-Tel put one out. What a great find.
  18. well my brother-in-law is not a bug, but he is big into speed metal!
  19. Not my kind of music, however being a musician and knowing what goes into making a band, your stuff is tight, well produced and down right jams! The lead signer must have one heck of a sore throat nightly! Tight sound, high energy, speed metal! And not every song sounds the same. So many bands fail when it comes to original sound. Too bad your in Florida, we've a venue here in Salem, the IKE BOX, a great spot for bands such has yours. Portland has a great indie scene too,if you every venture west let me know my brother in law is bug into this kind of music!

  24. Yeah but Ed...16 J NAMES!!! They're starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel for these names! True, Jinger is a bit of reach! :? In Kasey's family there's; Kasey, Kelly, Kendra, Kate, Kirby, Kristine, and then there's Denny! What happened here?! I'll never know. At least the names don't rhyme!
