I have never understood the pricing at most theme parks! I know the price and profit margin, and there is no need for this, none what so ever. It's not just Six Flags either, but most of your major theme parks.

Coke! ha, take a good long look at Mountain Dew. Dew has Brominated Vegetable Oil as an ingredient, BVO keeps flavor oils in suspension and gives a cloudy appearance to citrus-flavored soft drinks. Eating BVO leaves small residues in body fat; it is unclear whether those residues pose any risk. It doesn't surprise me that coke would have this effect on you.

I saw this posted on Screamscape earlier today. If you look close you'll one of our favorite Imagineers Ric Turner video taping the moblie lab! Must have had something to do with the attraction. I was impressed with Lucky, but this thing takes it to the next level.

I have been a long time supporter of GKTW, it is truly amazing and a top notch operation to be sure. I took a tour of the facilities some time ago, now the place is a full blown resort. I didn't take the time to read Kevin's article, I will, but one thin that really struck me was how GKTW took care of the family, not just the sick child, but everyone visitng, and this is important. I encourage you, take a look into GKTW, and if you find it your heart to support their efforts, good for you. Oh, and if you every go to IAAPA and they are offering tours to the site, do it, it will change you for ever, it did me!

Well, well, well... Right now outside our place it's 18 degrees! It was 34 today. We are looking at the chance of freezing rian or snow showers Tuesday morning. I hate this weather. Then I see where it was freeking cold back in SoCal. You know I don't remember Ventura getting that cold ever. Looks like we might get back to some normal weather soon. Look at Tuesday! Pearl Harbor (2001) - Longish, but okay. Armageddon (1998) - I liked it... The Rock (1996) - Good action! Bad Boys (1995) - enjoyable. So as for Transformers, it looks okay. You can't tell by trailers any more.

Your park is fantastic, wow. I have so many questions, I just got RCT3 from my wife as a pre-Christmas gift. (I've wanted this for ages, but feared my computer wouldn't let me play. It does, slowly.) Is there some place on the net I can go to learn more about te game? how to build rides inside buildings, and such? Thanks, Ed Who last play an RCT game back when RCT first came out!

Cell phones should not be permitted, period. We don't allow them. If you are caught on the phone you get to go to work for burger king! One of the most common prolems for parks are employees become too comfortable with the ride they are running, and this creates some serious problems. We rotate employees if at all possible so they are not stuck in the same location for hours on end. Also and I hate to say his but the buck stops with management! If it's a large park then it stops with the ride supervisors! they need to keep things fresh and fun! And stick to strick safety polices, and stop being so damn lax. Some of the pictures I have seen posted here make me sick.

Well... The wind is gone, for now. We got power back at home around 4:00AM. There are trees down all over the place, over 100,000 people still with out power, roads closed, and amtrack has canceled service to Seattle due to flooding and mudslides! I am about to venture to Portland to take kids home for the holidays... I am not looking forward to this trip. ODOT has a great web site, tripcheck.com, you can see all the state traffic cams. As for the men stuck on Mt. Hood, our prayers are with them and their families. There was just a live breifing, there is still hope these men are alive, but once again the weather is not cooperating. Snow levels have dropped to 1,000 feet today. The forcast for tomorrow is fiar so here's hoping they catch a break.

The national weather center has posted High wind warnings until 4am! outside my office the winds are gusting, We've lost power at home according Kasey. (great no sleep for me tonight! I use a c-pap to sleep, no power = no sleep for Ed!) We've had four trees fall on campus tonight and power through downtown is out. the last report I heard said 199,000 people are without power in the valley! Can't wait to get off work and drive home tonight! Oh and I get to ride a bus tomorrow to take kids home for the Christmas break, should be interesting. Oh and the Oregon coast is getting hammered with winds up to 100mph right now! Pray we don't blow away...

My deepest sympathy go out to you and your wife. Kasey and I lost our only child to a mis carrage at 6 months, I still hurt to this day and this was almost 7 years ago. Our prayers are with you. Ed Roberts

This ad is such bull. the price for this ride is way off, look SF is seling their old first gen freefalls for more than this is listed for. Most big ride like S:TE are sold through a major broker like ITAL int. Me smells a hoax.
