  1. It depends on the park. Parks that close when the clouds look "angry": -Knott's Parks that only close when fifty feet of snow is falling from the clouds every three minutes: -Any Japanese park
  2. Zero How many frames of Lost have you seen? Hint: 25 frames per second
  3. I love that site. Check out the JAPANESE CLOAKING DEVICES! http://drkssk.fc2web.com/zekkyou/nagaspa/chute/after2.jpg
  4. For me, it changes. I like The Beatles all the time, as well as Electric Light Orchestra and Pink Floyd. So I guess you could say that they're my favorite bands because I like them constantly and equally. I love OK Computer but I don't love everything Radiohead's done, so I love OK Computer. I love Pet Sounds but I'm not a big fan of a lot of the other Beach Boys stuff, so I love Pet Sounds. Constant love bands: -The Beatles -Coldplay -ELO -Jefferson Airplane -Pink Floyd -The Police -Simon and Garfunkel -Yes
  5. I've been somewhat emotionally invested in these books for a while now, and like hell I'm not going to read the last book. I'm dying to find out what the heck is going on with the sugar bowl and the schism and VFD and where the triplets went and whatnot.
  6. From what I've heard, I'll put it firmly in the "Needs lots of improvement" category. Lying on your back is not something a flying coaster should be doing to you unless it is part of an inversion, like a rollover or a loop. It was a good idea, but it wasn't executed very well.
  7. The only known photo of the Ryan in its natural habitat.
  8. I'm thinking it's really chicken on a stick and not the "other thing".
  9. I'm glad it's going to La Chapultapec Mexico because from what I've heard they keep their rides up well. Those loops look fantastic. <3
  10. ^Robb is gonna be preoccupied all week!
  11. The fair is kick-a this year! I remember last year it was all crappy. And now we have a Top Spin (sort of thing), and two major rollercoasters (one broken), freakin' Steeplechase slide (haven't seen one of those in ten years), Sea Dragon, Falling Star...I'm suspicious...
  12. 11-year-olds aren't 13, unless I am mistaken...?
  13. Ah. We went about a year and a half ago. Those last hills gave so much airtime, it was great. I remember my butt being off the seat over each one.
  14. Since when was Cali Screamin' trimmed? When I went on it it gave the most incredible airtime.
  15. Hopefully they don't catch wind of this or we'll be seeing "WOMAN PARALYSED IN FREAK DISNEYLAND ACCIDENT" and "HAPPY DAYS ARE GONE FOR DISNEYLAND-GOER" in the newspapers.
  16. I doubt that they're going to put the lapbar trains on SLCs, but they are developing vest-like OSTRs that aren't so intrusive. So you won't get total freedom, but you will get somewhat stealthier restraints.
  17. Oh, great, you gave Ghostrider a positive score. I hear angry torch-wielding villagers. Glad to hear you had fun!
  18. I don't remember the name, it was something like Pink Pig or Prism of Light or something. Kind of generic...they're a travelling band, from Washington. All I remember was that they were really amazing. It's great hearing Bike live. It's almost as good as hearing it on a record.
  19. Pink Floyd cover band. They were very good, I was sort of surprised. They played one song from every album. Animals- Pigs on the Wing (1). Yay! Cute love song. Piper at the Gates of Dawn- Bike. Crowd went nuts. Great rendition. A Saucerful of Secrets- Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun. Very moody, very suave, very cool. More- Cymbaline. The lead singer managed some great vocal stuff here. Atom Heart Mother- Fat Old Sun. So pretty. Meddle- One Of These Days. Cool red lights swirling everywhere, very biting and sharp. Sounded just like the actual band, but with a longer midsection leading up to the climax. Obscured by Clouds- Free Four. Very bouncy. Audience clapped in rhythm. Dark Side Of The Moon- The Great Gig in the Sky. The drummer sang the vocals, she was very good at it. Wish You Were Here- Welcome To The Machine. Sounds great in concert. Animals- Dogs. Very ambitious! I was shocked to hear them play this, because it's 17 minutes long. Very very good. The Wall- Another Brick in the Wall. Not surprised to hear this but my god they were kickin' butt with it. The Wall- Hey You. I was happy to hear that the guitar player didn't suck at this. The Wall- Comfortably Numb. Great solo! The Final Cut- Two Suns in the Sunset. Very bitter, but the lead singer managed it well. A Momentary Lapse of Reason- Dogs of War. Great stuff here, keyboardist managed the saxaphone part pretty well. The Division Bell- Marooned. I hate this album, but it wasn't too bad here. The Wall- Stop/The Trial. I nearly fell out of my seat when they played this as a finale! Very good! Backup singers gave it their all, and the wallcrumbling was LOUD. Meddle- Echoes. Encore! Fabulous! I loved it! Animals- Pigs on the Wing (2). Gave the concert a great sense of continuinity. Clapping and Cheering- Fifteen minutes. lol. Probably the best coverband I've seen for Floyd I've ever seen, and I've seen a few. Very good! They played for about two hours, which was incredible. They looked worn out afterwards, lol.
  20. Johnny Mnemonic "Sometimes I think you ain't got the sense God gave a lemon!"
  21. They have one of those at Castle Park, although I think the one there is even smaller. And my god, you get so much freakin' airtime at the top.
