  1. Michael, I got it back when I was religious. I'm now a raging aetheist and I guess that means it doesn't count anymore.
  2. Looks like you won't have to worry about th eprice of the park for much longer as it's for sale. Sorry about that to the folks in CO.
  3. I've only been on WT and SV and prefer Twister, I guess I like the second spiral better than the holding brake. Not to mention the fact that Twister is on a beach. Both are very cool rides, though. An impulse on top of a tall building would be awesome, the ride is all about visuals.
  4. I can't see why not. Couldn't any wooden coaster get the pre-fab treatment? Not saying it would happen, I just ponder the possibility. That would be awesome. While we're at it, let's fix SOB and Mean Streak.
  5. oooh, I didn't know they had a Huss rainbow! Awesome.
  6. Yes, the roller slides were ill. I remember I went down one facefirst NOT A GOOD IDEA!
  7. Have y'all seen the aerials on Pointbuzz? That area is a LOT larger than I thought. So many kinda tall supports that seem to not change in elevation much.
  8. Another awesome update Alveys! I don't know if this has been posted here yet, but RCDB is now listing the Intamin ball coaster as being named Kirnu and it will be located by the fun house. Any park that has a Huss Booster is great in my book, how was that ride? http://www.rcdb.com/id3613.htm
  9. I like the new name, thankfully this park wil be saved. Medusa looks awesome and I've yet to ride it. Why can't there be more B&Ms with Sea Serpents?
  10. Sorry to hear about your hardships but I wish you the best of luck at HOS! I hope to attend both events this year. (HHN and HOS)
  11. No, my friend that's Texas and they like to be reffered to as a "whole other country" which is fine by me. Speaking of the portable Huss top spin. It's owned by Strates shows and I've ridden it at the NY State Fair in Syracuse. It was seriously the best top spin I've ever been on due to the awesome, long program. It's so cool seeing a fair that still travels by rail.
  12. I think it's very cool that you're learning Japanese, but I imagine you could make it to the coaster without doing so. Judging from the TPR trip report photos it looks like they were very English-speaking friendly and everyone got around just find. I'd like to learn a little before next September but I don't know if I'd ever be able to master the language. I already speak two other languages and it just might cause a hemmorage.
  13. I just read a German article which basically says all new Huss rides will be built at the secondary facility in Hungary which is now the only one... The Bremen facility was bought out and the workers canned.
  14. In what position did slammer get stuck? I've seen Catapult stuck at about 80 degrees, definately not comfortable, people were freaking out.
  15. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium, it's very good BTW.
  16. If anyone is going to BGE anytime soon and feels like picking up some pins for the pin-nerd (myself) please send me a PM.
  17. I'm not saying this is happening... But with Wicked Twister very closeby I wouldn't be surprised if the coaster was relocated to a park that needs it, and with all the newly managed parks there are some good possibilities.
  18. I didn't realize Dragon's Fury was ALL OVER THE PLACE! That thing has got a huge footprint. Awesome photos, but they just make me regret not going on the trip. I'll see some of you in Japan!
  19. I'm sure this isn't the end of Huss rides, we've seen companies go under just to rise again under a different name with similar if not the same attractions many times.
  20. Wow, more stuff already after we were blessed with Voyage? Sick!
  21. I remember seeing that sign for the indoor aquarium complex a WHILE back. At least they have the pod thingy ready for the topple tower.
  22. That would certainly have some unique visuals... Would be weird completing an inversion sideways.
  23. There's 4?? I have ekirmes and ikirmes, what are the others and what do they feature? Awesome news to me being a flat ride junkie.
  24. I had forgotten all about that S&S park. Hopefully they'll set up more of their evil machines. It would be cool if they just kept all the prototypes right in the park and then spiffed them up and opened them for the public... which is actually what they're probably going to do in some cases.
  25. Wow, either Dominator got rough quick or I sat in good seats. When I went 2 years ago it was an awesome ride and not rough at all. I wish CF had not chosen all repeat names when they took over the park and had to lose the SF stuff... And I still think Steel Venom looks awful with red and blue... paint that b*tch yellow or something! Now onto positive stuff... Very cool waterpark TR, there aren't enough of them posted here. I see that GL has the ill funnel slide which has more slide part than my Tornado. (SFNE) That huge slide tower looks awesome and I must ride the green slide! It must have been quite a project moving it to the other side of the park. The place looks completely different from my last visit, if only there was a new coaster on the skyline. Overall, great TR.
