HW coaster maint.
ECZenith replied to Rollerfreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I agree that reprofiling can be a bad idea and retracking has always made a ride better IMO. Take my home wooden coaster... The Cyclone at SFNE, it's a shell of its former self. That first drop was killer! Now it's still good but not great. Well I hope Legend is prime for next year's TPR trip seeing how I decided I'm going to try to get a spot on that bus rather than the Japan trip. It will be my first time going to HW and I have high expectations of it! -

Let us know how those PAX coasters are. I've always wanted to ride one of their 'cobra' coasters! -

I'm not saying you're a liar when I say I'll believe it when I see it from them, it's such a big thing to happen, and at this point you never know what could happen. Even at the last minute, a string could be pulled to get S&S out of the water. I don't associate post count with trust, and you are probably right about this... it's just such big news it's hard to believe. First Huss... now S&S, I'm telling you that 4D is CURSED man!!! Oh, and BTW, welcome aboard. -

SF has the rights to ice age? Well... could make for a cool color scheme. -
What Is People's Favourite Horror Film?
ECZenith replied to Rockinryan30's topic in Random, Random, Random
The Saw series... other favorites are 13 ghosts, house on haunted hill, and ghost ship. I never really liked the freddy/jason series but they were cool in all nite drive in at Universal! -
I'm seeing Saw 3 in between the time they kick us out of Universal to the time they let us into Horror Nights. I love the first two! Me and some friends went to see the descent because they play the saw 3 trailer before it, we JUST missed it and the movie was garbage.

That is some f-ed up s right here. -
So weird you mention SFNJ in this thread. I was almost thrown out of SFNJ for arguing with some white trash in line for the tiger show. When his entire party cut the line, I basically told him to piss off. He being an idiot, wanted to fight about it, and me (being the same at the time) was going to knock him out for pushing my girlfriend out of the way to get to me. Security grabbed me and the fat slob but when they found out what happened, they just made him leave the tiger show arena. The guy at the entrance of the arena wanted us both kicked out, but I really didn;t strat anything...

One thing is certain... the ride looks like it will focus more on "serious sidewinding" than airtime. So far the footers and track show low to the ground tightly banked turns and that one twisted section looks absolutely sinister. I can't imagine anything larger than a single car squeezing through that... I mean I know it's possible but yowza... -

In regards to Premier don't forget the number of Italian Jobs they've been selling and before that, Mummies... I do wish they still made their awesome inverting LIM coasters though. I'll believe the news about S&S when I hear it from them. With all the new Screamin' Swings coming up and Eej, how could this be true? If this IS true, the 4D is definately a cursed machine! -
:: peers out from under rock :: Wha??? Magical Midway has a starflyer?! Nice, I'm going there in October.

Thanks for the comments, but yeah, it's good but not the best out there by any means. I think it will be impressive the week it's shined up with details before I release it for download. Here's what's happened recently with this project. *Atmosphere music added to JP and CUS, makes the atmosphere a lot better. *I had the jeep ride about 30% done when RCT3 decided to crash on me while adding palm trees, feeling a little frustrate, I saved the rest of the Jp area for later, and I may scrap the flying coaster Pterosaur as it seems too similar to one of my Dueling Dragons... *I built up a hill on the left back corner of the park which will be Lost Continent when completed, Dueling Dragons (wind vs. earth) is in the very early stages of construction and will feature tunnels, mist pits, a massive castle station and not to mention precise duels. Down they go... The lift hills of Dueling Dragons. I don't know if I'm satisfied with this logo yet. -

Oooo, weird! Must be very disorienting to go from the vertical maneuvers to the mouse turns. -

$20 is nothing to them. Most parks make their profit selling overpriced food and drink and souvenirs and adults travelling with children simply spend more money, on themselves and of course their kids. I am reserving judgement on SF until they have the wheel for a couple more years... Let's hope for the best as always. -

Lots of progress today, I hope it really has a drop as seen in the drawing. Would definately be a surprise if it had a lift and a launch. -

I don't believe it's confirmed yet that Universal Osaka is getting a B&M. -
That does suck, it had some cool looking trains. Always sad to see these disappear.

Dream World 62 Moo 1 Rangsit Nakhon Nayok Road Thanyaburi, Pathumthani Bangkok, Bangkok 12130 Thailand That looks like the only other interesting park. They have an indoor coaster and a Vekoma suspended.

Thanks for all the tips, I think I'll make a trip out of this park instead of just a credit run. Someone told me it was very close to the airport and easy to ge tto. Guess they're wrong!

City Under Siege is officially done. The next rides will be the following -Pterosaur (B&M Flying Coaster) -Dino Tours (Jeep Adventure) -JP Discovery Center -JP Restaurant When these are done, the next area will be Lost Continent and my take on Dueling Dragons, earth vs. wind. The coasters will be teal and green and will be based off the DD concept but have different layouts and two very different ride experiences. Earth will be a terrain coaster, diving through trenches and carving against the ground while Wind will focus on high aerial maneuvers. Both coasters will interact and duel just like the Orlando versions. Here's a few random screenshots of whats been done recently. Peeps seem to like JPRA. The two new buildings are Storm Force Accelatron and the City Limits arcade. Look's like Dr. Doom's Fearfall is more popular than Maximum Carnage. More details added throughout the city's paths... The completed City Under Siege!
