If you look in the right down corner of that pic it clearly states "Mega Coaster". So we could all drop the Megalite name now, as that is clearly not what mack is calling it.

The Flumes were pretty popular,so it will probably end up being some kind of water ride.

This coaster looks so good! And the theming is amazing. Now remove Goudurix and put up a B&M Dive machine similar to krake there instead.

Anyone else noticed the increased capacity on this one, 32 passengers instead of 24. Is this new, or is it the same on the other Six Flags Star Flyers as well?

I'm pretty sure the park has announced nothing about this coasters layout!

For me, easily Speed Monster. Would love to go on ISpeed and Storm Runner tough.

Speed Monster, Kanonen and Stealth are so awsome, so I say Intamin. Would love to try Blue Fire, Lynet, Formule X and every other launch type of coaster there is!

These are just rumors made up by the CP fan forums, take them with a grain of salt. I guess some of them found out about the "5 rides" deal with Intamin and are now screaming out that B&M will make the next coaster, because CP can not possible be happy with Intamin.. T o be honest I can not really see CP adding any of the current B&M's, I would guess that it would be a new concept, if it were indeed B&M. It has been in the making for like 5 years soon..

Well no surprise there. It's nice to see them getting a new big view attraction, since the gyro tower is no more. Also good to see Liseberg keep investing, despite building Atmosfear last year, instead of adding nothing new for 2012 like Gröna lund.

I read that this is going to be a clone of Twist at Le Pal, wich is a good thing if you ask me.

I doubt that, they said the reason for removing the pitfall was that the popularity had decreased, and it was not justified to keep the ride running anymore.

Yeah, that's what I also thought when I first saw the lift hill support, it's way bigger than I expected.

I have no idea about maverick, I have not watched that element, so I don't know. As for the whole stengel dive concept, the trains need to go up a hill, get overbanked, and dive into a curve. This does it all in reverse. Either you call it an overbank, or a reverse stengel dive, but I don't see the point in the last one.

If the train were to go the reverse direction then it would be a Stengel dive, now it's just a turn.

As said before, a Stengel dive is an overbank located on top of an airtime hill, Skyrush does not have that. People should stop calling it a Stengel dive, and just say overbank.

As much as I would love to see that It'll never happen, Six Flags hate Vekoma. Personally I dream that Parc Asterix buyes a set of these new trains for Goudurix before I head down there to try out the new invert.

This was my favorite project for 2012 long before the coaster went vertical. I just love the concept of a 55m tall water coaster with the Pilgrims style lift, and now that it is vertical I'm even more excited. As for the height limit, I'm really hoping for no more than 46", but I guess 48" would be more likely.

No it would really not be. This parks need a big family thrill ride, and that's what they are getting. I'm also positive that the worlds biggest water coaster will bring more guests than Italy's biggest coaster.
