  1. Moser drop towers a reliable, and great! If the park could have settled with the regular one's, then there would be no problem. Instead they had them build an Intamin drop ride, without any experience doing so.
  2. No, it's always been planned to 2013. The ride is part of a new Theme Park, built by a water park, in Sicily. The whole project will open in 2013.
  3. This looks perfect! Sure, no Mega-Lite, but still not far behind.
  4. Damn, I was not aware of that, that is horrible! It will probably end up with the rides being included in the admission fee, and that will be raised to around 400 SEK.
  5. Word is that Shockwave may be leaving the park. This would be one awesome replacement for it, and would fit well in at the park IMO This has to be the dumbest thing I read today, you do realize that the launch is the new lift hill, right? A park can put in as many launch coasters as they want to!
  6. That is correct. I actually prefer the non spinning ones, as you get 4 different experiences.
  7. Yes, most Nordic teens are spoiled and rude, sadly. Anac0nda, I hate to break it to you, but Atmosfear is not a gyro drop, it's a ring drop. Still awesome tough!
  8. But Atmosfear is almost twice the height of the S&S Towers, Cedar Point already have a 300 foot tower, so it's not needed with one more.
  9. Now I actually found proof that the ride exists! It's not finished yet tough, but it does exist. If you look to the right in this picture, you can see the foundation for the ride. The station looks like a giant H. If you then look at this rendering of the ride from above, then you can see that the foundations for the supports looks pretty accurate as well. It's really nice to see that the ride will actually get built, as I'm planning a China trip for next spring Hopefully it's finished in time for TPR china trip!
  10. I've always defended Mack in the "Mack ripped of Intamin with their Launch coaster" debate. But this time I think it's a bit to obvious. A very similar design, and even the same amount of cars on the train! (who looks gorgeous by the way).
  11. I really can't wait for pics from the upcoming China trip!
  12. Here are some pictures of a soft opening. Victory Kingdom, soft opening. Still no sign of the Intamin ride, and I start to think that it does not exist. It's really disappointing, since this is probably the ride I'm most interested in at the moment, except DiVertical and Skyrush. Hopefully pictures of the whole park will come up soon. Edit: And the park only got a 6.2 out of 10 from they guy who took the pictures.
  13. The handrails for the stairs looks horrible!!! I finally found something to not like about this one
  14. Really? Source on that? I haven't heard anything.
  15. They will be usable for a long time, it doesn't go as fast as one would think for a ride to get unusable .Sure you might need a few parts swap out and so after a few years, but they will certainly be usable. Besides, the park still has one employe who is there to run the rides and maintain them every now and then, so they will not rust away.
  16. Most likely not, but you will see an increase in quality from the Chinese manufacturers. The parks in China don't buy the knock-offs because they save money on them. Chinese just rather do business with Chinese. Hopefully they will start making B&M clones in the future, instead of the Vekoma and Arrow ones.
  17. These kind of accident's does not happen. Sure if somebody who does not have access to the area is in there, like the Batman accident, the ya, it can happen. But not for somebody with experience and knowledge about the ride. It makes a lot more sense after reading that it was a suicide.
  18. The location of the pier seems pretty exposed. How many days of the year do you think it will be closed due to high winds?
  19. The only thing the rides actually need would be topper track, that's it. They can lower some of the airtime hills as well, to give a wilder experience, but I don't think there is a need for any of those crazy overbanked turns that Texas Giant has.
  20. Since it not a Stengel design, I think it should have another name. Something that's unique for Rocky Mountain coasters only! Flying dive or something that sounds just as good, but fit better.
