  1. So, I finally rode this coaster on my German coaster tour a last week. I have always loved the way it looked, so I figured we should stop by this park to get the credits. And boy am I glad that we did, because now I have the credit's, and I don't have to visit this place again! I think the park is really ugly, with it's fake lake, and bad landscaping. Also the layout of the park is just annoying. I've heard some pretty bad reviews of the ride before, but I did not believe all of those. How can a Eurofighter be bad, all of the ones I been on have been awesome I thought. I don't really know how It happened, but the ride really beats the crap out of you. It's not rough, or rattly, it just all of a sudden (like every 3 second) throws you really hard into the restrains. My height was perfect to get the blows straight on my neck as well. I did it three times, in all rows, just to be sure, and the answer is that it's a *little* milder in the front, but not by much. Such a shame, because it had a pretty awesome layout, with some great force, but it wasn't worth it. And I usually don't complain, I really don't, I even enjoy SLC's without bitching, but this was just hurtful, and I have to warn other people. Even my girlfriend who is not an enthusiast says it's the worst coasters she's been on. If it would get the DDD lap bar's the ride would be really awesome, but judging from the place it's at, I don't see it happening. I will, however, give two big thumbs up for the awesome Hafema water ride. It was pure awesome fun. Would love to see the rubber boats model installed at more parks!
  2. Holy crap that looks amazing! (not!)
  3. Yes, but you see, the difference between Gröna Lund and Djurs is that Gröna Lund actually wanted the wooden coaster, Djur's does not. Coaster Club Denmark has several members that are friends with the CEO, and he has told them on several occasions that he don't want a wooden coaster.
  4. The park will not build a wooden coaster. They have way to low noise restrictions, plus the owner of the park think they require to much maintenance. And let's not forget the huge success that the park had with Piraten, so I would not count out Intamin. This can be found on another site:
  5. I'm still hoping for Intamin here, the rumors says multi-launch looper. Would still be pretty cool if this one also turned out to be a Mack.
  6. I thought the one in Skyline park was a bit brutal, especially when it picked you up to lower you down again. But the ride was still pure fun, and I'm not sure this one will be. But it still nice to see something else than an SLC cloned in China.
  7. Intamin has also sold two more 10-inversion coasters for 2013, plus the one for Hopi Hari. There is also a indoor looping coaster for somewhere in Asia, also a Gyro drop with different seats for somewhere in Europe. Plus a few water rides. All this according to Park World Magazine. Plus the coasters for Vialand. And don't forget the State Fair gyro tower. Also read something about another Gyro Swing, but I have no confirmation on that one.
  8. Thank you for you're thoughts, really appreciate it!
  9. This is actually something I have been thinking more often lately.
  10. Any thoughts on the Bullet Caster to share?
  11. Oh holy shitballs, I was so not expecting this Looks like the world's best looping coaster will land in Liseberg!
  12. Might also be like that new crazy launched spinner with inversions They most defiantly do, we just don't know about them yet.
  13. Yeah, i'm defiantly excpecting a family ride to, but i'm hoping for a big one. It would be so cool if you could attend the media event and keep us updated
  14. The ride for Hershey was a gravity driven one, not powered. It also feautered inversions. It has to be something along those lines if they are investing as much as they do, if it is indeed a Mack. Would make sense to build an inverted coaster as well, since everybody seems to miss the old Hang Over so much, judging from there Facebook page.
  15. Yup, that's the one. The vice president of Liseberg has said that it will be a world premiere, so it won't be your average spinner, if that's what they are going for.
  16. When Hersheypark was looking into proposals for the 2012 coaster, witch turned out to be Skyrush, Mack wanted to build them an inverted ride with inversions and spinning cars. Would be cool if something like that popped up, but it's unlikely. The park has a pretty long standing relationship with Intamin as well.
  17. I don't know if they mean most expensive single ride ever, or most expensive investment ever. If it's the first, then it will be bigger than 100 millions Sek (15 millions Usd) that that was Balder, or if it's the second then it have to be more than twice that amount. Excited!!
  18. I thought Sochi Park Adventure land was for 2014?
  19. There was most defiantly a trim on the Bückel hill, and then one before the two last airtime hills. It still rode awesome, but they were very noticeable.
  20. Nice trip report! I visited this park today. Expedition Geforce defiantly delivered an awesome ride experience, I do think that the two trims killed the later half of the ride, but the ride still takes the second place in my top 10. The operations however left a lot to be desired. A packed weekend day, and the were only running one train on Geforce, and only half of the wagons on the mouse. The park had an awesome vibe to it tough, and I can not wait to see what Studio 100 does with it. The park sure needs a few more coasters pretty desperately to keep the crowd it gets entertained, so I'm excited to see what 2014 might bring.
  21. It will most likely be the 100m Star Flyer that they did not get permission to build on the current parking lot. Would be cool with a new thrill flat tough. Edit: you beat me to it.
  22. A question for you Robb, when you are at the new Happy Valley in Wuhan, do you think you can take some pictures of their water park?
  23. One is rumored for a new park in Italy for 2013, one for Hopi Hari for 2012, but that one has been delayed to 2013. For the third one I would guess China,
  24. The Intamin fly rider track is on site, and it look's very I305ish, except it's triangle, there is no way that it is a Chinese knock off. Concept art: There is also an interview in Park world Magazine, where someone from Intamin mentioned this new ride concept. Here
  25. Damn, I also hoped for a review of it. Hopefully Bullet coaster is open, when you get there. So you was at Victory Kingdom today, did you see any construction of the giant Intamin half pipe? Was there track on site?
