  1. The mine train looks to be clone of the one in Bakken, Denmark. Only with a LOT more awsome theming to it!
  2. Skyrush is definitely the coaster to beat in 2012. Piraten is my #1 coaster, and this has the same number of elements, in the same style, plus winged seating. My dad travels to Hershey every fall for some annual old car market, so maybe I should follow him next year to try all the awsome coasters in HP.
  3. Really nice to se some colors! I didn't even know you could paint waterslides
  4. Trust me, a Zamperla Giant Discovery is what you really want.. The Huss ones are not even worth riding after i did the Zamperla one!
  5. Has anybody heard anything new for this? Is this project confirmed?
  6. Looks like S&S is changing to single spine track on this model, interesting.
  7. I'm so stoked for this project! hopefully it really is a water coaster on steroids! But I really hope it has more than one drop, you would kind of expect that for a 20 million euro price tag!
  8. Am I the only one who seriously don't think this looks to be any more intense than any other recent B&M Invert? Sure it's a great new kind of layout who looks very fun, but that's pretty much it!
  9. Intamin is building a 10 inversion coaster for Hopi Hari, and there is rumours that there is a park in Italy also buying one. Then there is the half pipe impulse coaster for Triumph Kingdom, a megalite for Nigloland, Mirabilandia's new coaster is most likley Intamin, and Skyrush in Hershey. I think Intamin is having a pretty good year to.
  10. Was at the park yesterday ( couldn't bother to ride Storm Surge) and the place was PACKED! There were 100min quenes to all the mazes, and all the fast tracks for them were sold out. Stealth was easily the most awsome ride, but Nemesis was the best. After having ridden Kanonen and Speed Monster, I gotta say that the launch on stealth makes them look like small school girls. It is that much more intense, I almost blacked out trying to keep my hands up all the launch track. I was also very impressed with Saw, after what I've heard, the ride was really awsome. Colossus is good fun, but do have the rattle, and I only did it once. Slammer was down wich was a bummer, and Rush only operated 1 swing. All of the flatrides had 1h+ lines, so I only did Rush and Detonator. The lines were REALLY horrible all day, and if I was going again I would easily buy the all day fasttrack for 55£. Now onto Swarm, it looks very impressing and intimidating in real life. After watching pictures of it online I tought it looked kinda ugly with it's special first drop, but in real life it is probably the most awsome looking ride i have ever seen, exept from maybe Stealth. All in all Thorpe was a really nice park, and I'm probably going back next year to ride Swarm, but don't go on Fright Nights!!
  11. I'm really hoping it will be soon! When was ISpeed announced?
  12. I'm guessing for triangle or square track on the lifthill to allow for fewer suports, and a different drop.
  13. I'm guessing it's a portable version they bought, and not a park model. That means they need a big deep concrete slab to suport the ride instead of individual footers, and that's why they are putting up those walls.
  14. Still praying to the Intamin gods for this one!
  15. Dont know any in the states actually, but Supersonic Odyssey in Malaysia is a good example. Still excellent ride tough!
  16. I feel stupid because I should know what that is(being a TPR, roller coaster junkie) but what the heck is an Intamin Rattle? It means that the ride is not rough, but it's not smooth either. All this in a special "Intamin characteristic way"
  17. Yes, but it's just a play on You're eyes, coming from the suports.
  18. Balder and Piraten is pretty much "untouchable" on my list. Have not ridden Twister yet, but I don't think it will change anything.
  19. Don't take this to seriously, I really don't think it's true.
  20. Sorry dude, I don't find anything about a manufacter in the press release. Link?
  21. That concept art looks ALOT like Zierer's new ESC coasters
  22. I don't think it will be possible not to be impressed when the lift and first drop is finnished
  23. Hopefully this will blow some new life to the park. It's been so long since they added a new coaster, I think the reception from the public for this will be very big, and make for more new coasters. Something like Krake at Heide Park would look so very good in Goudurix spot..
