shesaidboom
Time to bring this thread back from the dead! This summer my fiance and I rescued a mama and litter of five kittens from a crazy lady who was going to drown them. Mama with three of the tiny kittens. Charlie, Jamie, Chester, Piper, and Lucy. Chester, Lucy, and Charlie have been adopted, and either Jamie or Piper will be adopted tonight. Cuddle puddle We wanted to keep Mama, but because she hates our dog with a passion we decided we were not the best home for her and adopted Charlie instead. Mama will stay with us until we find her the best home possible.

Angry_Gumball
Time to bring this thread back from the dead! This summer my fiance and I rescued a mama and litter of five kittens from a crazy lady who was going to drown them. All of those kittens (Especially the second pic) look like they're up to no good...you know how kittens can be, next thing you know one of them can be shooting up your leg at the smell and sight of food. Nrthwnd
Our wonderful, beautiful cat, Camille, is possibly going to be put down after this weekend. Somehow, she contracted something just a few days after I got back from the TPR Japan Tours, on Monday July 4th. We've been doing everything we possibly can for her, but if things don't improve for her after Sunday... These are the two pix I took of her the day after I got back home, Tuesday July 5th. Then, a few days later she got sick. I am so freeked (as is my partner David, who's in the one pic with Camille), I just want to break stuff, destroy something, yell out loud, be really angry and "take it out" on something, anything. Break glass. Destroy my car. Thrown something thru a window. Am hoping A Miracle happens on or by Monday. We love her so much. Camille and my David, enjoying the sunshine out back. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Sweet, sweet Camille. On our back deck. Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

BeemerBoy
^^ Bill, I'm really sorry to hear about that. It's just sooo tough when our pets become ill. I'll be praying for the best for you all.
Sir Clinksalot
I thought I had posted in here ... This is our Patches. Unfortunately we had to put her down in February after 16 years. We got her the week that my wife and I moved in together (before wedding/kids obviously). Still trying to decide if/when we are going to get another animal. I'm not ready yet. For those who got a chance to meet her (Robb, Elissa, Joey, EBL and a few others) they can probably vouch that this was a typical Patches face. And yes, the scratch on my knee ... from her. I miss that bitch.
Nrthwnd
^^ Thanks BB (sorry, don't remember your name if and when noted, here). Camille keeps moving around to hard-to-spot/find places, to sleep thru the day. This morning we actually got her up on the bed to snuggle and sleep. And purr. Mmmm. She still reposnds to to us, which is good, but everything is in slow-motion with her right now. We're hoping it's just all the meds in her system, slowing her down, and not the pain or hurt. And ^ Gregg, already we've been telling each other, "not another one for now." But with Camille, it was four months after we lost our last cat (Calliope) before this one came into our lives, via the BC-SPCA. So, as much as we'll be telling ourselves such things - you never know when the next pet picks you, etc. Fate and such, hmmm? Hope you and your family have been doing okay, since your Feb. loss. EDIT (Sept.7/17): We had to put Camille down on July 25th. I was a mess, as was David. We waited until November, when we picked out Stella, who is still with us. STR8FXXXINEDGE
This is Vader (Yes, he was named after Darth Vader). He's a Pug. He was the runt of the pack, and believe me... you can tell. He's not all there, but he sure is the cutest damn Pug I've ever seen! He's a special little guy. I have to confess though; he's not actually my dog. He's my roommates, but he might as well be mine too. If you live with roommates that have pets, you know what I mean. He needs a LOT of attention and contact. Not a bad thing, though. "I didn't do it."
