cookiex
I'll be going to Liseberg next week! I heard Kanonen has been closed for a while and according to Liseberg's facebook page they're still waiting for a specific part so that's a bit of a bummer, but it's not that big of a deal as I already have the credit and I'm going there mostly for Helix (my first Mack launched coaster so I'm super excited for it) and my favorite coaster of all time Balder! lond
A really good photo of Mechanica during my last visit to Liseberg. I hope you who visit the park this weekend will have the same beautiful weather that has been the past two weeks and it's still there next weekend, when I'm not working. /// Marcus
viking86
Thats a pretty cool picture! If I get the same weather next friday when I'm visiting I will be very happy!
Nrthwnd
Awesome photo, Marcus! I love shots of rides reflected on glass or mirrors (or both!), etc. Just curious, but what was the building, Mechanica was reflected, on? Have a good visit in a week, there. viking86
^Awesome, I'm sure you will have a great time! Make sure to get in some night rides on Balder, it runs like an absolute blast compared to day rides, which can be a bit on the slow side.
lond
A couple of pictures from my visit last Saturday (20150919): First Mechanica: And Helix: Balder, Lisebergbanan and Helix were running almost at lightspeed in the evening after a warm day whit lots of GP:s in the park. lond
I've decided every coaster train needs a lighting package just because of pictures like that. And then it's possible to take photos like this: A photo from the opening day: Larger image edit: the image is made of 2 images with exposure of 55 and 74 seconds on a tripod. /// Marcus /// Marcus
KingRCT3
^ You should ask to switch of all the lights of the surrounding attractions, and then take the same pic! But it's already pretty amazing as it, thanks for sharing.
dcxs
Liseberg removes its ferris wheel and two S&S-towers for a major attraction next year! http://www.dn.se/nyheter/sverige/liseberg-skrotar-klassisk-attraktion/?l1
rcjp
^I remember them saying (when Helix opened) that 2016 would be big too but I wonder what attraction would make them remove these three.
viking86
It says the new investment will be ready for when the park opens in April next year. That's not a long time, considering they also have to remove rides. Will be interesting to see what the plans are.
