Gas Prices where you live

I paid $3.89 the other day to fill up my Mustang at a brand new Chevron down here. It seemed like the pumps are a different design because Ive never had such a problem filling up my car with gas leaking. (I have a 1967 Mustang and gas tends to leak out the fill area while refueling.) Its in the middle of the back of the car common Ford!

Right now the price of gas in the Burlingame, CA area is $4.03. Its getting less & less each week.

Around Easton PA its down to about 3.55 a gallon. Dropping since it hit 4.10 about two months ago.

Since I only pay attention to premium. Around here it has been ~ $3.90.

 

Thank God it's not $4.20 anymore.

The news tonight showed it as being $6.00 in Greensboro, NC, which is an hour away from me. I saw it at $4.99 just down the street though.

My Dad said it ranged from 4.50 to 5.25 here.

In Terre Haute, 3.89. And according to www.indianagasprices.com is 4.39. i suspect there is some gouging going on SC and NC where it is 5 or more dollars.

Yep because in Myrtle Beach SC all the little gas stations that had gas for 3.90 run out yesterday. Now only gas stations with gas left have it at between 4.99 and 5.59.

There was one station that was supposedly 4.89, but every other station in Terre Haute went to 4.15. Down in Haubstaut, IN it was 4.47 at some stations while others were 4.15. I also seen some stations at 3.99 still.

 

Also, the owner of the Marathon store (private, not corp. owned) said thier supplier said they will have to start rationing to stations and suggested to the stations ration too.

In my home town upstate Ware Shoals, SC. They are already limiting people to $10 worth. And the gas is runnign 5.15 up there. I am glad I filed up and only live a mile from work.

We went around town today, some stations didn't have any gas, while the ones who did ranged from $3.99 to $4.60, depending on how much gas they had left.

For the first time in a while, I had my car filled up at $3.79/gal, anticipating a severe price hike. Around Cin city, prices last I heard were up to $3.99 and up to $4.15 in N.Ky. I have heard of rationing and outages, maybe around here, but nothing too bad.

Georgia has seen big price hike last couple of days. I have seen almost $5. Couple of stations even ran out. If people would only stop panicking and creating a shortage situation.

Looks likes the Southerners are getting fleeced. Prices in NY and NJ have not risen.

I'd walk to work at that point. As for us central floridians who live approx. 22 miles from Disney gas is 3.86(?) for premium at the Wal-Mart gas station where there's always low prices.

 

As for my mom driving me ANYWHERE in the next month or so forget it, she works 2 jobs, and I have an ass of a sister who has to be EVERYWHERE and depends on rides because she's 18 1/2 and doesn't even have her license. So school should keep me pretty occupied on the weekdays.

^Practically anyone who lives one mile from work should walk. This is regardless of the price of gas and the impact on the environment.

 

Exceptions would be for people with disabilities or places/times where it is unsafe to walk.

Its 3.45/Gallon where I live at college(Iowa). Up in Minnesota where I live, the price of gas is about 3.60/Gallon.

It looks like the people here in the south are the only ones really getting screwed. The people at the center of the hurricane in Louisiana are still only playing $3.50
