Deja vu is scary the first time, then it's awesome!

Anyway, the ride that scares the crud out of me is.....SUPREME SCREAM AT KNOTTS BERRY FARM!!!!! It's so tall, and so......dropyy, it scares the crud out of me....but I'm thinking about going on it next time i'm there......I'm still not sure though....

Strangly rides don't intimidate me anymore nowadays. I used to be really scared in SLC's, Boomerangs and drop towers, but when I rode Silver Star, Stunt Fall, Venganza de Enigma, Superman and Batman, I wasn't scared at all. I feel that I enjoy coasters/rides much more when I'm not afraid of them.

Thank god I'm past the 'scared stadium'!

Valleyfair's is droppier (I think).

And somehow, it still sucks beyond imagination.

there arent any rides that like hardcore scare me, but there are a few that make me really anxious. Because I just went on my first Intamin rocket last month (stormrunner), and that launch had me blown away. I cant even imagine what TTD or Ka would be like. Its honestly just those 2 as far as if anxiety will get to me or not.

Errr...I refuse to go on those "Roundup" machines. Or the "Ferris Wheels" that put you in a free-spinning car that spins around as it goes up and flips you over. I have a fear of any rides that go upside down. Not counting overbanks or 90-degree turns. I think I could take a zero-g-roll foursome (Collosus@Thorpe Park), but loops, corkscrews, cobra rolls, forget it. One day I'll try the nearest looper, but until then...

It's all hypers/gigas/stratas `till then.

Pitiful, yes. How much do I worry? Not that much.

Spin doctors, otherwise known as fabbri boosters. They creep me out, they feel too loose. once i bought a ticket for one, and another group did, too, they went ahead and got on first, thent hey were stopped at the top, and i realized im too freaked out and didnt wanna go on, so i left, and they were left dangling up there. no clue why, though, I mean, the ride op swung them up there, why cnat he swing them down?

Slingshots and Skycoasters. You will never EVER get me on one of those. Just the thought of being held up by a couple of cords...ugh. Same reason I'll never bungee jump. I wanna go skydiving though, interestingly enough.

Drop towers...I do enjoy them. That doesn't mean they don't scare the crap out of me. Intamin ones (1st gens and gyro drops) usually aren't so bad because, at least with all the ones I've been on, they're on a timer. But S&S ones...sitting up at the top knowing that the ride op down at the bottom can push that button whenever they feel like it, it's unnerving.

And lastly, sky rides, ferris wheels, and wave swingers. Mainly just because of how rickety/unsupported they are and feel like they're gonna collapse. Never even seen a Star Flyer in person but I'm willing to bet I wouldn't go on it.

The thing with S&S drops, though, is that they have next to no airtime.

This will surprise you, but skycoasters are oftentimes safer than roller coasters. Those cords are strong. Really strong. Soooooo strong. And your harness isn't coming off. The most likely accident I can think of would be if you pulled the cord half way up or before the blue thing was completely down, but that's completely rider-caused.

i refuse to ride any sort of drop tower.im not scared of heights, i guess its just the idea of fall straight down, legs first.i hope one day i can overcome my fear and ride one, cause i say i would love them if i could just do it once.but i honestly dont see me overcoming my fair of them for at least a long time.

the idea of slingshots freak me out too.

Slingshots and Skycoaster's both didn't scare me. Way to short. Like someone else said, the cords used are very very unbelievabley strong. Skycoaster's use Elevator Cables (heard it on a show), but i'm not quite sure what Slingshots use...

slingshots are awesome!

Thats weird because I think the Intamin droptowers are far more intense than the S&S towers, which feels very controlled. The Intamin towers are only powered by gravity once the cars are realesed and it just keep going faster and faster until it hit the brakes. S&S towers have a quick acceleration at the top, but after that they move downwards at somewhat constant speed with no sensation of falling at all.

what about shiekra at busch gardens, the first drop is scary, especially in the front row
Didn't bother me at all.. But my onride photo was really funny. If someone can find me a ride to be scared of I'd like to know... But yeah, my Kingda Ka Front Row was the funniest picture ever though...

I wouldn't be caught dead on a Skycoaster but as for rides that I do ride that scare the crap out of me I would have to say X-Flight becasue everytime I ride it I feel like I am going to be shaken out of the harness. TTD didn't really scare me but the first ride on MF I was terrified of that drop but after about 7 rides or so I started to get used to it.

Rides like Acrophobia scare the crap out of me - but it is a good kind of scared.

Skycoaster - did it once - not again.

The Double Ferris Wheel at the fair - by far the most terrifying thing for me. The think looks like it is made out of an Erector Set - rattles, shakes and sways - NEVER!
