kraken613 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 That looks AMAZING! Thats one of the most detailed water parks ive ever seen!
thrillrideseeker Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 OMG!! That slide looks so amazing!! I love water slides that go under water!! It reminds me of the slide at the Atlantis Resort in the Nassau Bahamas!! ~Matthew
TexTitan01 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I think I'm in love... WHY does this have to be in such a far off place?! Anheuser Busch! Take note of the beautiful scenery! Make Busch Island something similar! Please?
nagro5 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 That looks cool. To bad I will never be able to go there. I hope it stays under the water longer than the one at Aquatica.
Swimace Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 ^I doubt it will, the one at Atlantis flies through the shark tank and they're almost identical rides. Regardless, this park looks amazing
sam06pr Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Can we get a link to more pics? btw The water on the last pic kinda looks dirty, but this park looks amazing, better than Aquatica
the sound Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Dam, a clone. I was kind of hoping for the slide to be a bit different to the slide at Aquatica, but it wasn't to be. Oh well, still looks pretty good.
verticalzero Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 WAVE TESTING VIDEO http://www.siamparktenerife.com/latestpics.html SIAM PARK WILL OPEN ON 1ST MAY 2008 The park's plans also originally included a roller coaster New Pictures below:
roland303 Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 My only question is why did they have to truck in sand from Portugal? I would think the Canary Islands would have plenty... . Otherwise, the place looks like an awesome destination water park.
zanix Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Canaries islands are from volcanic origin, so the sand of the beaches is black, the manager of the park wanted white sand por the wave pool (I don't know why exactly).
JuanSe_Colombia Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Wow looks cool. Adrian cuando abre este parque?
Lincow Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 I have been said that the park will open in May (i dont know exactly the day yet)
Groteslurf Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 That must be a cool ride. Also, I would have no problem to ride this slide because you end up in a pool in stead of the 10 cms of water where most of those slides end in.
Hand 0f Time Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 I remember seeing that park as a vacation for Wheel of Fortune winner. That park is very beautiful! Impressive water slide, that tower of power. I love how they are putting up even more scenery on water rides now than before.
signal Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 That must be a cool ride. Also, I would have no problem to ride this slide because you end up in a pool in stead of the 10 cms of water where most of those slides end in. I find that the slides that end in pools hurt your back less while you are riding, atleast IMO thats what I think. The one at the West Edmonton Mall is really smooth. But the one at Wet 'n' Wild in Australia gave me a really red back. IMO the slides that end in pools are alot smoother by themselves
raptor6 Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 This is easily the most beautiful water park that I have ever seen! I hope that some day I can check it out in person.
Bucket Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Looks incredible! Though, I'm not the biggest fan of water parks. The thought of swimming in the same water with so many others kind of grosses me out.
Lincow Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 I found this old aerial pics in the skyscrapercity forum Captures by Alex+x
