I always find it more fun to design your own cover..I figured, I have the skills with Photoshop, so why not use my own design rather than take someone elses? I know mine's not perfect but as long as my game's protected and I'm happy.

I'm getting really annoyed right now...I can't find any Nunchuks anywhere. I call up EBGames and they tell me they won't get any till Feb...that's quite a long while but I guess I can deal with it...I've dealt with it since Wii launch.

^^ So, you Yanks' Wii Sports didn't come in a case, like all other games. That's really weird!

Actually over here it is not weird. I bought an XBOX 360 thay came with NFS:MW an d it came in a DVD paper case and a bag with the manuel. Bought a DS with Animal Crossing a while back and it too came in a palstic bag.

Once again, I checked a Best Buy, Target, and GameStop. Nada. I really want to do party games with Raving Rabbids as most of them require the Nunchuk. I'm still finding RRR addicting, and snicker at the trademark bunny screams when I hear the commercials. Last but not least, my Wii straps still haven't came in/been confirmed. Luckily, though we get heated competetition going on, we're gentle with the Wiimotes.

In a funny side to this, I walked into the local GameStop the other day to sell a few old games. When I asked if they had any PS3's, he said "Sure, I have a bunch in the back." I then asked if he had any Wii's available, to which his answer was, "Nah, I can't keep those in stock."

So, as Nintendo sold nearly as many Wii's as MS sold Xbox360s the past two months, despite shortages, does that mean they are wiinning the console wars right now?

Well, Wiis are selling pretty damn fast, they sold 3,500,000 in 2 months, which is just over 1/3 of all XBOX360, so if you do the math, they are selling the fastest, so I guess technically yes...

But, lets hope Nintendo keeps up this momentum with strong games, strong ONLINE GAMING (please!), and strong 3rd party support. personally I don't think PS3 is such a bad system, but it just pissed alot of people off with it's price tag and shortages in the begining, not to mention the bad press with poeple being shot and everything (where as Wiis "negative press" actually completely backfired on the poeple shoving the story out, creating more excitement and hype because people were getting "so excited and having so much fun")

I just got a Wii out of sheer dumb luck. I went to the local Target close to my college to look at running shoes and rechargeable batteries. I looked curiously over at the video games section and saw one Wii box sitting there...while two people were buying a Wii. I immediately got the box and then spent a good 20 minutes debating if I should get it. The return policy was superb so I got it. At the time I didn't realize it came with a nun chuck so I didn't get any games...as the games that interest me require a nun chuck. But it does come with a nun chuck so I went back a few hours later and another stock of Wiis had found the shelf and very soon found an owner within the hour. Crazy! I got Zelda and am a happy Wii owner.

...but I will still continue to bug Robb and Elissa to hang out and play the Wii.

Right now, I'm really debating on if I should invest in a Wii. However, before, I'd like to try playing one first. Any stores offer a demo? WalMart, Game Stop, EB Games didn't even have one for demo.

With the popularity of the Wii, it seems like every other thing a child gets. Uses it for a month or two, and never touches it again.

Around here the EBs and Gamestops all have demos to play, but you have to fork over a license to play though (apparently people were walking away with the wii-motes, so this is to prevent theft, as you hand over the license they hand you the 'mote and chuck, then you trade back when you're done. Also, I haven't heard about Gamecube Zelda being superior, how so? I'm loving every minute of Zelda on Wii.

Also, I've been SO hooked on Red Steel. I can't see how this got such bad reviews. Sure the story isn't the best, but I LOVE the controls on this game, and the graphics are great too. Why so much negativity?

We got about 15 in the other day, they sold like hot cakes. We also got in 12 PS3s and most of them are still sitting there.

Anyway, does anyone else notice how warm the Wii gets when the Wii connect 24 is on? I turned off the stand by connection and left the C-24 on, but then the weather channel doesn't work at all.

So what else is the purpose of it besides getting surprise updates from Nintendo, or Miis from friends? If you have C-24 off, can you still get messages from friends when you turn on the Wii?

I'm just torn whether to leave the stand by connection on or not, I know it was designed to leave on but it gets pretty warm, maybe the fan should kick on every once and a while to give it a little cool-down.

I don't know, for something that uses very little energy when it's not on, it sure stays heated.

Too bad for Sony...Anyway, I've left my Wii on standby since launch and it doesn't get any hotter than my router. Havent had problems yet either *knocks on wood*. I'm sure your Wii should be ok with WC24 turned on provided it's not in a small confined area. Mine is sitting in the open on a shelf so it has plenty of air getting to it.
