mrfreeze6
My older brother got a PS3 for Christmas and I got a Wii. My older brother agrees that the Wii is a better system and he even wants one. I love the Wii and my favorite game is either Red Steel or Rayman Raving Rabbids. I can't wait for Warioware and Mario Party 8. The new controllers make the possibilities for Mario Party minigames endless.
OzCatter
Ugh, XBL went down in a massive failure tonight, complete crash except for downloads and chats and messaging. Â I spent the whole night enjoying Wii Sports and Bomberman 93 instead!
Primogen18
I downloaded Bonk for VC last night, classic game, and using the WiiMote sideways like an NES controller is much easier then i thought, even is comfy lol.
darklingscribe
^Yes actually, they were. It didn't make Nintendo fans too happy either. It is no where near the same though. The sixaxis only picks up the turning of the controller, it can't detect where the controller is pointing. It really only serves a purpose in racing and flying type games. Personally, I think it was a bad call by Sony to do that because they had to sacrifice the rumble feature. Yay for all of Sony's stupid mistakes! Â Even if Sony had not included the sixaxis motion sensing feature into their controller they still would not have the rumble feature. The company that designed the rumble type of motor which Sony used in the controller sued for patent infringement and won. Sony was ordered by a Judge to stop all use of a rumble feature for their next system. They should have just settled out of court like Microsoft. Primogen18
Randomly looking at Metroid Prime 3 screens, and I REALLY hope this goes online, and Nintendo FINALLY goes fully into online gaming with alot of these franchises like they should have a while ago. If Mario Kart and Metroid for Wii don't go online, thats pretty stupid considering it would be a HUGE step back from the DS counterparts. Im just hoping they finally get the online gaming thing this time around.

Homer
I have a question, does WiiSports have online play in which if you have sent your Mii to another Wii, you can play them?
Wes
^ WiiSports has no online play whatsoever. You can send your Mii to another Wii by using the Mii Channel, and then play your Mii on that machine.

Golfie
Have you tried connecting to the USB connector? --Robb   Yeah - It can connect to the connector, but it's too far away to send/recieve any signals (when the Wii connects, there are no bars)   I'll try bringing my laptop downstairs and using the USB connector with it. Hopefully it won't be too much of a pain to do when an update is needed.   EDIT: I just downloaded the Opera browser onto our Wii! (Posting from it right now.) CoasterCrazy
I was looking at memory cards for the Wii today at Best Buy. I saw some memory cards that were made for the Wii but they look like a regular SD cards. Do you have to buy the ones made for the Wii or will any SD card work with the Wii?
SFGAdv89
^ Any SD card will work. I have a Toshiba SD card for my Wii.
Primogen18
Not sure if this has been brought up, I haven't seen it yet, but:  www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/wii/ www.WiiArcade.com www.Wiicade.com  /\ Some cool sites made just for wii with wiimote-playable games. Some really fun stuff there as well as forums to suggest other games to put up. I know theres more sites out there as well as more in the making. Also Mini-putt online ALMOST works, I know its possible with the wii-mote, just it doesn't load the last milimeter or so. I'm wondering if its just the site or the Wii, I'll have to try later. DATman
Finally got to play the Wii yesterday, and it was AMAZING! Everything about it was a blast, even if it was at my friends house and not my own. Still, Wii sports was awesome, and I'm so glad I finally had the chance to play one. the sound
How do i find out what my Wii code is?
Angry_Gumball
Go into the Bulliten Board thingy and go to the address book. Your Wii Code's on the very front page where it says "Address Book" Â Anyway, about that Rayman game, how long does the game last? About how many mini games are there to play? From the teaser videos Robb posted, those rabbids look quite weird right down to their funky scream. Would this last as a party game?
SharkTums
The only negative about it as a 'Party Game' is that you have to unlock all of the games through the single player mode first. Now granted if you sit down for about 3 hours you can have them all unlocked so it's not the worst thing!
Blazen_AZN
My WiiStraps came today, they're pretty stiff comapred to the old ones... Â Honestly, i think NIntendo should have just never put the straps on in the first place, that way people couldn't blame it for their problems. They could only blame themselves for being stupid enough to throw the controller at the TV.

Instead of simply underestimating the excitement of consumers, they would be negligent. Common sense would say to put a wrist strap on them, especially when Game Boys and DS systems have them. Angry_Gumball
Rayman is f@%$# insane. Â Yes it is...I just bought it tonight and just fired it up about a half hour ago. Too bad I only have 1 nunchuck still. Maybe soon, I'll find more nunchucks. I can definitely see where this can instantly become insane multiplayer madness...and the screaming bunnies...gotta love 'em!
