spaminacan11
^^I got Warioware today. I am loving it so far. I didn't realize how many different positions you can hold the wii-mote in. I was instantly sucked into the game and I wanted to quite, but I actually played three more level things before I stopped.

Primogen18
I've seen Wiis here and there around here, too bad I can't ship one out to people in need.
Imhotep
See its the opposite here.. Stores have several PS3s in stock, but no Wiis. In fact, the Best Buy around me had probably over 20, close to 30 PS3s. Ill just be paitent.. I have some 360 games I need to beat first before I get another console anyways. Angry_Gumball
I just did 2 things today: Bought Wario Ware Smooth Moves and reserved SSBB, which comes out in april (according to Game Crazy). They looked it up on their paperwork. I must say, Wario Ware's pretty bizarre, perfect for a party game.
Primogen18
When I say I see Wiis, I mean 1,2, or 3 at a time. Take for example yesterday I walked into my local Gamestop and saw 3 Wiis there, and they said they had more but sold some through the day. There was a decent sized tower of 13 PS3s sitting in the middle of the floor with a sign "we're in stock too!!" written on it. I asked how they have been, he said they have been sitting there all day and most of yesterday. The most action they saw all day was someone tripping over them, ironically on their way to the counter to buy a Wii.
Masked_Maverick
^ Now thats funny. Would that be counted as a Wii related injury?
Primogen18
nah, its PS3's fault for just being in the way...
Angry_Gumball
LMFAO that's funny. I actually saw 2 Wii's sitting there at my local Game Crazy, which were actually reserved to those who preordered prior to launch. (It amazes me that there are still reserved Wii's still waiting to arrive.)

Angry_Gumball
I can't get past the spanky dance part. It was funny watching my bro doit though as he got all into it, down to shaking the butt. And lastly, gotta love the hot pinkage going on the game's case. For those who haven't seen the case in person, it's not the "Xcelerator" pink...it's a really vibrant "OMG look it's t3h pink!!" hot pink shade. By the way, anyone notice (in the instruction book) that Nintendo has their end covered as far as those many idiotic Wii players out there who either beat up their friends senselessly or randomly chuck a wiimote at the TV or randomly smash a ceiling fan's lights. Basically, it says to make sure you're clear of everything, and not be fidgeting like you've got bugs allover you. Pink eye...
OzCatter
I need to decide if I want Warioware or renew WoW, help! Oh and I watched my GameRush/Blockbuster recieve 5 Wii's and watch 4 sell as soon as they got em out. The 5th was for one of the employee's preorders
PhishyBrewer
Lawyer Thinks Family of Late Radio Contestant Has Case Widower Distraught Over Her Loss POSTED: 10:56 pm PST January 15, 2007 UPDATED: 11:05 pm PST January 15, 2007 RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. -- 107.9 FM "The End" posted a statement on its website which stated the morning show responsible for the contest was indefinitely cancelled. "Friday, Jennifer was just her bright, usual self," William Strange said. "She was trying to win something for her family that she thought we would enjoy. Her whole family, friends and acquaintances loved her very much and we miss her dearly." His wife, Jennifer Strange died Friday after ingesting huge amounts of water in a radio station contest to win a Nintendo Wii. A preliminary investigation indicated she died of water intoxication, or hyponatremia, a fatal dilution of sodium in the blood. Timothy O'Connor, Personal Injury Attorney said the family has a case. Timothy O'Connor, A personal injury attorney for 16 years said the family has a case and 107.9 FM may have some responsibility for the death, even though the contestants signed waivers. "Waivers deal with the risk of an activity," O'Connor said. "Nobody drinks a glass of water and thinks, 'This can kill me.' So, if you say in a waiver that if you die in this activity you cannot sue us, that waiver is meaningless. When they don't tell you of your risk and you just die, that waiver is not going to protect that radio station." Lucy Davidson who actually won the game system in the contest said she didn't remember if the waiver said anything about health risks associated with the contest. "I didn't actually read it, I just signed it," she said. The radio station's General Manager John Geary said they need for information. "We are awaiting information that will help explain how this tragic event occurred. Our sympathies are with the family and friends of Jennifer Strange, as they deal with circumstances that are so difficult to comprehend," he said. Copyright 2007 by KCRA.com. All rights reserved. SharkTums
They played some audio from the contest today where the chick admits to 'not feeling very good, my head hurts'....THEN STOP YOU STUPID BITCH!!!! Yes, it was a stupid contest, but you signed up for it, if you don't realize that that's not good for your body then you deserve what you got! Back to playing WarioWare now! man
just to let you know when I went to EBgames they said they (and all other EBgames) are haveing a wiifest this weekend where they will have everything in stock (nunchucks and wiimotes included) and extra warioware and everything. Dunno if this is just SF, but I might go get a nunchuck this weekend.
Angry_Gumball
I think our local funcoland/ebgames would have announced it when I called them Anyway, with the addition of my second nunchuk, I finally got to enjoy boxing...or in my case, worry about boxing. Watch this cell phone video my bro recorded of us boxing to find out. I'm in the brown/black hoodie, cousin's in the light blue closer to the camera/phone. I was inches from getting clobbered in the neck by the wiimote.

Imhotep
They played some audio from the contest today where the chick admits to 'not feeling very good, my head hurts'....THEN STOP YOU STUPID BITCH!!!! Yes, it was a stupid contest, but you signed up for it, if you don't realize that that's not good for your body then you deserve what you got!! I don't neccessarily think shes stupid, I mean she was a [edit: Thanks Wally!] mother doing this for her 3 kids, so Im sure thats what compelled her to stay in the competition. Anyway, I read the radio station did warn in the waiver that there was a risk of dying due to water intoxication. So including that with the fact she could have stopped any time, there isn't really cause for a lawsuit. The station still could have taken some percautions, like during the intervals maybe make the contestants eat something to keep the minerals in their bloodstream. In the end, what Im getting at is really, it was a just a huge accident.. Sucks it was fatal and 3 kids are without their mother, but IMO it really wasn't anyones 'fault' and I dont think the people involved in the contest that worked at the radiostation should have been fired either. PhishyBrewer
I don't neccessarily think shes stupid, I mean she was a single mother doing this for her 3 kids, so Im sure thats what compelled her to stay in the competition. Not that it matters, but she wasn't a single mother. Her husband has been crying all over our local TV stations.
Imhotep
I fixed it. Thanks for pointing that out, I thought I read she was a single mother. I still think it was an accident though, no one should be blamed. A sad situation nonetheless.
