So my count is only 30 but will more than triple this summer as I make trips to CP, SFGAmer, PKI, and other parks.

Ever since I was 13 I've wanted to ride Beast. I read an article in popular mechanics about the coaster and have been dreaming ever since the 80's? I'll enjoy my first Beast ride this June. Will I be disappointed? I think not because my expectations are within reason and I just want to have fun.

What coaster do you dream about riding? If your count is really high, don't be a snob. This is about current, individual coaster dreams, not the "best" coaster on the planet.

I would have to say Thunderhead and Tremors or the two I am thinking about now. Tremors being a lot harder to achieve.

I am not including Balder or Voyage since they should definately happen this summer.

^ Desperado is a nice, long ride, but it's rougher than hell. Imagine your typical Arrow mine train---going 80 mph!

For me, I've always wanted to get to Cedar Point and ride everything they have. One day I just might get there.

Personally I found Beast to be extremely over rated, boring, and painful. But to each his own. I hear it's a night ride which I haven't had a chance to ride.

I'm not sure I have a specific coaster that I'm itching to ride. I've ridden nearly all types of coasters, so there's not much out there that is new to me.

^Yeah, Beast probably is overrated. That doesn't change the fact that I've been dreaming of a ride on Beast for almost 20 years now and will fulfill my dream in just over 4 months. I also want to ride Revolution.

This post is about dream rides, not best coasters.

Colossus at Heide Park

Superman at Warner Brothers Movie World in Madrid

Expedition Ge Force at Holiday Park

X at SFMM [i keep hearing bad things about it, but I still want to ride it just because I've never been on anything like it]

Silver Star at Europa Park

Balder at Liseburg

Goliath at Walibi World

Some good bobsled coasters that are longer than Avalanche at PKD

There are a few I'm going to ride this summer...Voyage, Hades, the weird looking Wild Mouse at Idlewild, Leap the Dips, Superman Ultimate Flight at SFGam, Superman Ride of Steel at Darien Lake.

Uhhh...I'm sure there are more.

I've been lucky to get on most of the great woodies in the US over the past few years, but the one I really need to do someday, I don't know when is Tremors. Also I don't know when I'll make it to Cliff's. Maybe I can sneak Rampage in some time this year.

FYI - I haven't ridden The Beast in 4 years, but it was one of those coasters I heard about for over 10 years before I finally rode it. Enjoy

I wasn't really impressed with the Beast. It felt to me like each part was stretched out just to make the ride longer. The ride did not have much airtime. The helix at the end is the only good part of the ride IMO, and even it is a little too rough.

I would really love to ride Deja Vu @ SFOG, but I have always chickened out, afraid that I might black out and die!

Speaking of blacking out, I used to black out after the second loop of good ol' Shockwave at SF Great America, before they replaced it with Superman. It was still an interesting ride, but the on ride photos always looked funny because I would 'regain my senses,' right before the photo during the pretzel loop.

Probably wasn't good for me to ride the dam thing, but still.

I am really looking forward to ride:

Dueling Dragons

Hulk

Kraken

Shaikra

Expedition Everest

Revange of the Mummy

I will ride all of them this summer! I am sure this year will be my biggest coaster year!
