sammmmmy
The splashdown is very interesting to me. It looks as if it were originally going to be the traditional dive machine/diamondback type splashdown but later was changed to artificial, looking at how the splash pool is laid out. oriolat
Remember the video/photos of the trains when they were delivered? There seemed to be some holes in the zero car. I was wondering why and the answer could be an onboard lighting system, like Hollywood Dream The Ride. Look carefully and you'll spot the same reflection in different angles... I hope it really is a LED system because this would make the trains look SO cool at night. BTW, Shambhala will be officially launched on Saturday 12th by Artur Mas, President of the Catalan Government.

Tmcdllr
Love that turnaround but how is it a double helix if you only turn around once? Looks just like a single helix that was stretched height wise.

robbalvey
Please let me remind everyone that posting an illegal POV of a coaster, that was OBVIOUSLY filmed without permission, can get you banned from these forums.
XYZ
I really like how Port Aventura is putting all this theming into the coaster as it really adds to the atmosphere.

B&MIntaminGCI
I wish I could get out to Spain to ride this monster. It looks absolutely amazing. I just wish they would have left the "Shambhala" and "Port Aventura" decals off of the zero car, it ruins it's essence in my opinion. I really want to know how the forces are in the "ampersand" double helix.

Agreed, it looked so much better without them. Love the colour of those trains though. Can't wait for a proper POV! Hopefully one gets posted tomorrow to coincide with the opening day. andybarnes84
I have to say that's actually a much better effect than the usual scoop it up behind, must be great to have walls of water alongside you. I'm still bitter about missing out on this by 1 week
coasterfreak101
It looks really dumb though. If the water had been closer to the track, i.e. Diamondback, and the fake-splash sent water outwards, it might look fine. But this just looks fake.

TXman308
So I take it Hanno is the "one TPR guy". Hope this ride is as good as it looks.
coasterfreak101
Looks great! Not a fan of the average B&M hyper, but this one looks to pack more in and go through its elements pretty quick! And the water splash does look cool from onride at least.
