ParkTrips Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I don't really believe in attaching them to New Year's, but some current short-term goals are * run more than once a week * repaint part of my house * go back to the doctor for my HBP ... and "get laid" is ALWAYS a goal, right?
TheStig Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 ^Get laid is my resolution! I know someone else who needs to, for REAL this time haha. Colin C
niiicolaaah Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 My resolution is to get in touch with my draconian half. Whoa, that's my resolution too!
mcjaco Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Nicole, you may touch my half draconian side. I won't tell which half it is, so it'll be fun for both of us! Don't tell Derek!
thomas2 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Some of mine: -To pass this year at university; -To get my bike license -To do some holiday work Quite boring actually
miniviews Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Lose 10lbs while in Guam and ride a roller coaster after a year hiatus. The former will be tough due to the high per diem given, hence, eating out often. However, the latter is probable since cash is already allocated for TPR's Japan tour, if not, Manila next month.
PhishyBrewer Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Every chance I get... throw Ryan in the pool!!!
TheBannedKid Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Maybe eat better, learn to study...especially for finals, start exercising, get my Xcelerator model finished...and to become uber friends with R&E so I can play the Wii more often, lol.
robbalvey Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Maybe eat better, learn to study...especially for finals, start exercising, get my Xcelerator model finished...and to become uber friends with R&E so I can play the Wii more often, lol. Dude, you're missing one VERY important goal for the year....
TheBannedKid Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Fine...to get laid more than Jahan and the other virgins in the bet. So when are we going to that strip club Robb?
USRoadTripper Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 I need a career. I can barely stand one more second at my current job. Getting laid wouldn't be a bad thing either. -Julie
mcjaco Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 ^ I hear you Julie.....I hear you......my job blows too. Oh yeah, and that getting laid might be nice too.
mr_teisco_delrey Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Get an MBA, and learn a second language.
Spookbaby Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 To stop f@!cking swearing so god d$mn much. Oh, who the he!! am I kidding?
ChrisZer0 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Eat more health you say, didnt know that was eatable Seriously, im starting the gym in a few weeks, goal is to cut some weight and get that six pack the chicks like these days
Imhotep Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 My resolutions are to: -get back into drumming. Learn to play some jazz, maybe take some lessons.. Ive been a slack ass about it for the past 4 or so months and its killing me. I also want to try to work on making more a career out of it by starting to give lessons, and looking into doing studio work. -Get my CCNA. -Since Im now married and expecting a kid, I want to buy a house this year and do everything I can to become a good father to my newborn as well as my stepson. -Lose weight, go to the gym, eat heathy, yadda yadda. -Play less video games. Not gonna happen, but hey, gotta have one unattainable goal on here
onewheeled999 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 I need to get more exercise. And practice riding my unicycle more. Need I say more?
Real Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Lose weight so I can fit into 26" waist... ...I hope you are like 5'5" too. Thats ridiculous. I havent been a 26 since I was like 13. Im 6ft 190 and Im a 37" that would like to be a 35". Which wouldnt be skinny. But...I hate New Years Resolutions. They have as much weight behind them as Nicole Richies dress size. And why wait for the new year, why not just make a change when you need one?
thefitness Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 ^ Good point, but it's nice to go into a new year with a fresh start. My goals for 2007 would probally be... -Gain weight. -Keep swimming,or find a new sport. -Go out of the country. -Go to church more often. -Visit the rest of the ThemeParks in FL. and -Kill the Dixie Chicks
p0tat0 Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Resolution - To not have anymore resolutions cause they're bs anyways
Masked_Maverick Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 ^ Thanks for the thought provoking and relevant post which totally sums up the previous 8 pages of this topic I reslove to stop being so sarcastic.
Primogen18 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 i just hope 2007 is better then the past 2/3 years of my life. 2004 was where things went downhill to begin with, 2005 was worse, 2006 I didnt think could be worse, but it was still even worse....
timetrial3141592 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 My sister's resolution is to punch people less.
