Soda is always a must, because i also like the ice after drinking the soda. Sometimes, especially after pay day, ill get popcorn or some sort of candy. I like Reeces Pieces.

Two cokes, and we share a large popcorn. Then get free refill for the drive home. Yum.

I usually sneak my own food into the movies. No way am I paying $8.00 for a hot dog and a drink! You aren't a theme park!

^ Yeah I do that too. No way am I paying $4 for candy when you can buy the same ones at Target for $.99. Usually I smuggle water in, as well as candy, but sometimes I get an Icee or soda.

Most of the time, its medium-sized popcorn (for 2 ppl) + a large soda drink.

On some occasions, I also enjoy having nacho wth cheese to go with my soda drink!

Yeah I know, lotsa carbo  but they taste good. Ha ha.

^ Carbs are good! Didn't Elissa tell you that?

Anyways, I work at our local IMAX theater. You seriouly do not want to know the health facts of the "butter." The "butter" is actually hydrognated soybean oil with flavoring, and includes about 20% of your daily fat in one tablespoon. Gross.

If I have a snack or whatever at a theater, which I usualy don't, I bring my own.

Last night at the theaters it was funny. Somebody dropped or knocked over a beer bottle durring a quiet section of the movie and the entire theater started cracking up.

Even if it was 100% of my recommended intake in one tablespoon I'd still pour gallons of the stuff on my popcorn, I love it. Over here the popcorn is just sold warm and dry, with no butter or anything. That makes me sad. Although it possibly goes a little way to explaining why a smaller percentage of Brits are overweight than Americans.

I think you cant go to the cinema without the popcorn. I normally get:

Medium Popcorn

Medium Diet Coke. (A large in the Warner Village is like a bucket, seriously!)

Warm Hot Chilli Nuts (They are warm, not cold!)

Posted

Jumbo Diet Mountain Dew

Large popcorn with butter

Sour Patch Watermelon

I usually never finish it all. In my teenage years, I would throw some popcorn at the people below me. 12 bucks of food and I barely eat half. Good waste of money don't you think?

I never order popcorn when I go to the movies. But if I'm having a movie night at home, that's a different story. I LOVE popcorn popped fresh in a pot (no microwave for me, thank you) with a lot of salt and hot sauce (no butter, either). Mmmmmm, I'd rather have that than chocolate, ice cream, or any other junk food.

When i go to the movies my snack always changes. I usually get a large Mountain Dew Code Red, Medium popcorn with butter (usually get shared or not finished) and Buncha-Crunch! Popcorn and Buncha-Crunch is the best mix ever! I thought i was the only one to eat it like that and then i looked on the back of the box and it tell you too! HAHA!
