thrillseeker4552
Looks like a great addition! Hopefully I can FINALLY make it up to SFDK next year after living in SoCal my whole life and never visiting the northern parks. While there is only one new custom coaster between both chains, I am pleased to see that something is coming to EVERY park, with a big chunk of those being much-needed flat rides. coasterbill
Damn, an RMC and a Giant Frisbee back-to-back right after they became a year-round park. It must be nice to be you guys.

SharkTums
I always thought this park had a lot of promise and was one of the nicer parks in the chain. Nice to see it getting some recognition.
The Geek Mojo
Probably the best flat ride a park could get. I love these things! Great addition for SFDK. But the one in Montreal is closer to me. And the one in SFOT is even closer. So, I won't be traveling back to SFDK anytime soon for this. But the locals there are going to love it! dannyboy13
Great addition. Though seriously, where is this going? I always thought when they took out the go kart track, it would be for the S&S Free Spin Batman (especially since there are now 2 Batman villain rides). Wonder what is getting removed to fit this in. coasternate
Looks like another great ride. I'm so glad my home park has been getting so many great additions! Just keeps getting better.
VegasBaby
These Giant Discovery pendulum rides are probably my favorite flat rides and I'm very happy to see SFDK get one. It's a little bit of an odd choice though considering how similar the ride is to Tazmanian Devil. I wonder if Taz is on it's last legs and will be removed in the future? Either way, it's great to see the park get such a big addition after getting Joker last year. Edited September 1, 2016 by VegasBaby
j_dreamfinder
Wow. I'm so surprised (in a good way) that the park is getting another great thrill addition after The Joker. Like others I'm curious where this might go. I gotta think that this is going somewhere in the Joker, Superman, Penguin area to keep up with the theme (and to balance out the heroes to villains ratio). Great addition! Manic Monte
I think it's going at the very front of the park, on the other side of Superman. It looks like they'll use the space that's already been cleared.

It looks like they'll use the space that's already been cleared. I was just at the park last weekend. There is no space already cleared that will fit something like this. Are you talking about kind of between Superman and Joker, because I really don't think that area is big enough for this.
Manic Monte
Yep, that's where I think it's going. Looks large enough to me.
dannyboy13
It would be cool to have it swinging out over people as they are walking to the park. Guess we'll find out pretty soon where it goes.
chickenbowl
Looks really fun! Just adds another thing to do in that awesome corner of the park. Now if they'd get rid of all the asphalt - It feels like you're walking across a parking lot over there.
RAWKIN_coaster38
Yep, that's where I think it's going. Looks large enough to me. I agree. I feel they could make it work somehow in this location and it will be very impressive to view as you walk in. I do not think they will be removing the go-karts. I will be really surprised if that's what they end up doing. Also, based on the pattern of what the other Six Flags parks got this year, I would not be surprised if the next couple years we also get a Battle for Metropolis and S&S free-fly. Oh, and this new ride looks pretty sick Yeah I knew people would say it's similar to Taz but they are different in so many ways and this will be a great addition. And they could use more flats, esp since Taz and some of the others (VooDoo, Thrilla Gorilla) seem to be down a lot.

JGuy
I'm curious where they would fit a JL ride if they ever decide to build one there.
dannyboy13
Considering how often Taz is down, I've gotta assume with this addition that Taz will be leaving soon.

RAWKIN_coaster38
^^^In place of IWERKS theater I would guess. Also, the Season Pass renewal price is KILLER. $49.99! It says "immediate activation" but then elsewhere it says PLEASE NOTE: To receive this incredible offer you must buy during our Flash Sale. To get the free upgrade to Gold level, free parking, and free bonus Fright Fest ticket you must pick up your new Season Passes or Membership cards at the park by October 28, 2016. So if you are renewing, do you have to make it to the park by October 28?

I got in far enough without actually ordering and I recall it being a similar date. kinda 50/50 if I really want a 3rd season pass in a row. The first flash/labor day sale got me. Thankfully this time you don't need groups of 4 or more, well long as your a pass holder.

I might be wrong but I think the October 28 date is more related to getting the free bonus Fright Fest ticket, since pretty much soon after that date Fright Fest is over. jray21
I would get it processed by October 27th just to be safe. I"m not sure about renewals. Either way, I'd try and visit by October 27th. Also, it says there's a special offer for renewals, but nothing would happen after I put in my info (I made sure it was correct). Anyone else having this issue? As for the announcement, I think it's great! They are a lot of fun, and I'm glad to have one close now.
RAWKIN_coaster38
^I physically can't get there until December, that's why I ask. I don't want to purchase something that will essentially expire and go to waste. I e-mailed so hopefully I'll hear back from them, or maybe I can try to call. And yes, I was able to get in with my e-mail and season pass info. Did you ever register your pass online? The deal was $49.99 and a few other things like in-park discounts.
