rcjp Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 ^Thanks, that's pretty interesting. I totally missed this park but with this new ride I guess it will have a nice collection of coasters.
dhubbuch Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Definitely Mystic Timbers since KI is my home park and it will instantly be the most fun ride in the park. #WhatsInTheShed
DoinItForTheFame Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Definitely Mystic Timbers since KI is my home park and it will instantly be the most fun ride in the park. Not sure that it's fair to say it will "instantly be the most fun ride in the park." When you don't even know how it's going to ride yet. #YouCantJudgeACoasterByItsAnimatedOrRealPOV
grsupercity Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 ^I reckon it'll depend on what's in "the shed." The shed is going to be a gift shop that your forced to walk through
cfc Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 ^I reckon it'll depend on what's in "the shed." The shed is going to be a gift shop that your forced to walk through Then the lessons of Disney will be well learned.

Taron Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Heide Park announced "Ghostbusters 5D - Die ultimative Geisterjagd" for 2017 - an interactive Dark Ride. Don't ask me who the manufacturer is though ...

MIAfan88 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 New 2017 at Elitch Gardens as a star flyer http://www.elitchgardens.com/theme-park/coming-in-2017/ There must be a reason Elitch Gardens doesn't have a dedicated discussion thread. Even small parks have one.

KBrylczyk Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 ^ I meant yes, there's a reason there's no official discussion thread.
thrillseeker4552 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 It just got announced this morning, but Knott's is adding a Mondial Top Scan in 2017 named Sol Spin.
larrygator Posted December 3, 2016 Author Posted December 3, 2016 New 2017 at Elitch Gardens as a star flyer http://www.elitchgardens.com/theme-park/coming-in-2017/ There must be a reason Elitch Gardens doesn't have a dedicated discussion thread. Even small parks have one. We create Discussion Threads after people are already talking about the park in TPRs forums. We create discussion threads by pulling together multiple thread where a park is already being discussed. For example even this latest news, nobody bothered to create a new thread to announce or discuss it. For the record I think I have caught up by updating the first page of this thread, but I missed anything major (besides random Chinese projects) let me know
PixelRush Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 It's probably good to note that the GCI Heidi the Ride was delayed from 2016, and the Mean Streak conversion is confirmed but unannounced.
larrygator Posted December 4, 2016 Author Posted December 4, 2016 and the Mean Streak conversion is confirmed but unannounced. Can you point me to someplace where it was confirmed as opening in 2017? I do not follow this project on a regular basis.
PixelRush Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 ^ I forgot about that aspect, keep it as is for now
coasterbill Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 The topic is called "What's new for 2017?" and you forgot the "aspect" where it had to be "new for 2017". That's literally the only criteria for this thread at all.

chadster Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 OWA in Foley, AL slated to open Phase 1 Memorial Day, 2017.
larrygator Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 (edited) ^I didn't realize I had omitted that one. thanks Edited December 9, 2016 by larrygator
