coasterer
Wahhhhhh that quadruple down finale of Lightning Rod looks spectacular. It's slightly longer than I thought it was. The T-Rex concept art looks amazing, especially that 270 degree barrel roll, then reverse out of it. Thanks for the updates guys!
robbalvey
Please tell me that the fury train is not the only train at the B&M booth That's the only train at the B&M booth. You have to remember, that these companies are at IAAPA to sell their product, not to appease a bunch of roller coaster nerds. Trust me, a Fury 325 train just a FINE JOB of selling B&M's rides! Aww man. I was hoping for a Mako/Incredible Hulk 2.0 train reveal. Oh well. Like my mother always said, "suck it up, platypus".
RaceBoarder
I like the idea of the Q-band shown above.... Much better than the Tomogatchi that most parks use... Less likely to lose it and more convenient.

ZeroGravity55
I saw that PTC had an announcement scheduled for tomorrow and TPR just tweeted that they'll be unveiling a new train tomorrow. I'm interested to see what it is. They've basically have been taken out of the market for selling new trains to put on new coasters. Perhaps they're thinking they can sell a new modern design promised to reduce maintenance on coasters that are already using their trains.

strwrse1
Maybe they will unveil the new trains for Thunderhawk at Dorney? That would be a shock!
coasterkid124
For some reason, I am excited to see PTC's new train design. I'm guessing that it may be a second attempt at trailered trains of some sorts. Now with GCI, Gravity Group, and RMC all using their own modern form of train, PTC's articulated cars will begin to be phased out as time goes on. Hopefully the design works and is purchased by parks. Predator and Raging Wolf Bobs were torn apart by the original trailered trains.

XII
Wow. Just saw the spinning car on Blue Fire and it looks AMAZING!! I was not expecting to see that. I'm really hoping that this actually becomes a thing as Blue Fire is already really fun, I can't imagine how it'd be spinning. I'm also really happy with the rest of the announcements. RMC, as usual, continues to impress me with their T-Rex concept and everything else they have planned for 2016. Looking foreword to more coverage of IAAPA. Woodie Warrior
Looks like there's lots of cool stuff at the event this year! The idea of a Walking Dead ride sounds pretty awesome, but I'm just wondering if any family oriented parks would put one in considering that it would most likely be pretty gory. The zombie animatronic looks pretty cool, but it doesn't really resemble the zombies from the show. I don't get Maurer's wing coaster concept. What's the point of sitting on the outside of the track if you're still enclosed in a tight car? The trains look cool, I just don't get the point. Cobra's Curse looks pretty sick. Hopefully it's a huge success and other parks get them. It'd be perfect at a place like HW in need of a family coaster. Intamin's simulator tower looks interesting but I doubt we'll see it end up anywhere. I'm sure it'd be a fun experience, but I don't think parks would pay extra for a real drop when regular simulators can simulate drops and make them feel extremely real (such as on Spiderman at Universal). Robb, any chance you can swing back by Sally's booth and get a shot of the Justice League model? Thanks for all the updates and photos!

chickenbowl
What's the green RMC track? A smaller single-rail type? Yeah that's what it looks like to me, a smaller version of TRex track maybe. Raptor, anyone?? Also, I can't tell if I'm seeing it wrong but it looks tiny for coaster track, I wonder what the uses are (They also had TRex model track that was actual size, so I assume this is too?)
