sross1800 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Hi there! My name's Sean! I'm 23 years old, and I've got autism. Even though I haven't been to Six Flags St. Louis in about 4 or 5 years, and since it wasn't there the last time I went to Six Flags St. Louis, but since Downtown Disney at Disney World had a McDonald's (which they also called it "Ronald's Fun House", named after Ronald McDonald, of course, LOL!), do you remember a McDonald's at Six Flags St. Louis? Also, are there any theme parks that still have a McDonald's? And this may sound like a very stupid question, but besides McDonald's, are there any other fast food places at theme parks, like Burger King, Taco Bell, Arby's, etc.? Thanks! Sean
DirkFunk Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Liseberg has like 87 Burger King counters. Pretty much every Cedar Fair park also has at least one Subway. Cedar Point itself has a Chick-Fil-A too.
coasterbill Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 A lot of Cedar Fair parks have Chick Fil A which I love... their world views are reprehensible but their chicken is outstanding.
kidcoaster 2 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 La Ronde still has a Mc Donald's so does Disney Village in the Paris resort.
CPSFMMCW Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Kings Dominion has a chick Fil a and a subway. Hersheypark also has a subway. A lot of the Six Flags parks have multiple Johnny rockets in the park.
michaellynn4 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Great Adventure used to also have a McDonald's inside the park (which I worked at for two years), but we closed that location after the 2003 season.
MagmMForce247 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Yeah Six Flags St. Louis did have a McDonald's. I believe it was also after the 2003 season when it was removed for Moose Burger Lodge.
djboss302 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I know SFGAm has a Panda Express, and CP has a Chick fil A, but that's all I can remember.
TPDave Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Does Chessington still have McDonalds? Thorpe Park has a couple of BKs, a KFC and a Pizza Hut, though that seems to keep changing between Pizza Hut and the "Merlin's own" one.
El Toro_Ryan Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Great Adventure used to also have a McDonald's inside the park (which I worked at for two years), but we closed that location after the 2003 season. We now have a Johnny Rockets though.
rcjp Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I think CP has a Pizza Hut Interestingly enough, the pizza I had there was exactly like the ones I have near home. A bit surprising, actually, as I've been to pizza huts in other countries here in Europe and they were rather different.
RCjunkie Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Valleyfair has a Subway, Panda Express and a Cinnabon. If you want to count ice cream as fast food they have a Ben and Jerry's also.
djcoastermark Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Ah yes, all good and well that there are a few chain stores in the parks, BUT, do any of them have a dollar menu like the rest of their shoppes outside the parks ? Or , do any of them have a "good value" type pricing at all?
Divv3k Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Does Chessington still have McDonalds? Nah, that turned into a BK at the same time Alton Towers switched from McDnald's to BK. Now the BK at Chessington is gone too - replaced with a generic burger restaurant. I think Thorpe is the only Merlin park with any of the major chains inside. As far as McDonald's go - Mitsui Greenland has one slap bang in the middle of the park.
kidcoaster 2 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Another interesting one, when you leave Cedar Point you pass a Dairy Queen on your right. Cedar Point owns/runs that.
larrygator Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 (edited) As far as McDonald's go - Mitsui Greenland has one slap bang in the middle of the park. I didn't remember that but I do remember the McDonalds at Ocean Park. Shaka Shaka Seaweed Fries Luna Park (Coney Island) now has White Castle in the park. Edited June 13, 2014 by larrygator
ratdogg68 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 When I go to a Amusement/Theme Park, I want something different, that's part of the experience. I don't want, Mickey D's, Subway, Panda Express or any other Corporate Food Chain, I can eat them anytime. I want something Local our your typical Amusement Park Food. KY. Kingdom, has a Chef who has several, Local Dishes offered that are great.

I'm visiting Coney Island next month so really excited to hear they now have White Castle! Here's the McDonald's in Mitsui Greenland in Japan. Here's the one that Larry mentioned in Ocean Park.
XYZ Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Knott's has a wild west themed Panda Express in Ghost Town. Go figure.
linearinduction Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Lagoon in Farmington, Utah was one of the First Parks to have a Subway (1996/1997) and has 2 Arby's Locations as well as the Campground Subway.
