DATman
i never understood napoleon dynamite either, but the part with the co was hilarious i think that house is a bit underrated
CoasterExpert13
I just watch the regulars (Dave Chapelle, Mad TV, Mind of Mancia: all on Comedy Central, Comic View on BET and Pimp my Ride on MTV.) I think Reno 911 is overrated, but it is a little funny. I think Family Guy is a little overrated. I think King of the Hill is overrated.

4718
As USRoadTripper said, Committed was actually a decent show, but they did overplay the black guy in the wheelchair's disability for comedic effect....it was still pretty good though. The animated version of Clerks was a hit and miss with me, a couple of the 6 episodes (friend has them on DVD) were hilarious, the others were just dumb......not sure why. CoasterLou, I too love Futurama, but I always have to choose whether to watch the 11:30pm Simpsons or Futurama! It was like a fresher version of the Simpsons, but hilarious in it's own way. I'm sad it got axed, but they're on DVD now......and syndicated on Cartoon Network. As for my own choices, I LOVED Rocko's Modern Life growing up, it was a multi-level comedy that always delivered. Heffer was a total idiot, and Filburt a nerd, together with Rocko and the other cast members, you got a great half hour of two episodes. Anyone remember the one where Mr. Bighead starts sleepwalking as a pirate? That's easily my favorite episode, but the "I'm a gluten" one where Heffer dies and meets Peaches is great too! Another one, Angry Beavers, was axed by Nickelodeon way too early. The goofy cartooning complemented the off the wall humor, just the same way that Norbert was the straight-man and Dagget the idiot........another hilarious show killed off too early. Stitch
Well, if Angry Beavers wasn't canceled Richard Steven Horvitz wouldn't of gone on to do Invader Zim ... which is by far the most unfairly canceled show to me! I just didn't bring it up because it is in no way under rated
4718
I never got Invader Zim, kind of overrated to me. With the axe-ing of Angry Beavers, Nickelodeon officially turned to crap. Sponge Bob needs to get smacked or something, and the mindless blob they call animation would be better suited to lining my bird's cage with. Honestly, watch the current "kid's" cartoon shows now, they go for lame punchlines, predictable storylines, and no content. I wish we could somehow import the 1950's and earlier Warner Bros. Daffy, Bugs, Sylvester, and all the other actually FUNNY cartoons into the current scene, if nothing else to show kids what real humor is. Sure, I'm 21 and grew up with the old WB cartoons and loved them, I still don't care if they're over 40 or 50 years old, Mel Blanc and the writers knew what they were doing. My dad was a pianist, taught by his mom. She always said that if you want to hear good charts and music content, watch the cartoons. The way they can use an instrument instead of dialogue in the case of the Roadrunner cartoons, and all their others for that matter, will NEVER be done again. Sure, new series will try to imitate, but it's just that: an imitation. I like very few current cartoon series because of this, they just don't put any effort into it. J man
Stella- Face it, too few people liked it. Ask anybody and the majority would say the show sucked. It premiered on Comedy Central a few months ago and its last showing was 3 weeks ago (the Amusement Park episode). I like Stella. It's so stupid it's funny. "Let's go to the amusement park, in our minds!" Since the people before me brought up animated shows, I'd like to say that Animaniacs was the funniest cartoon ever. They should bring back that cartoon. My favorite was Mindy and Buttons, the one with the little girl who kept wandering off. Buttons the dog would always try to rescue her and end up getting hurt in the process of trying to save her, while she walks off unharmed. Good stuff. Florida420
"Shasta Mcnasty" You had Gary Busys' son  Mini Me   Hot Chicas    what more could you want in a show? as for you Oblong fans, if you don't already know, Best Buy has the whole collection on DVD Also I agree with Wes on Arrested Development, if you haven't watched it from the begining, you might as well not watch it at all. Having watched every episode I can say it is one of the best shows (comedies) around. Robb you should get the first season on DVD and give it a shot, I didn't like napoleon dynamite either, but I do love me some AD. Oh and a big ups to Animaniacs!! I miss you wacko P All " I'm a pianist, a pianist!!................your a mister potty mouth, that's what you are."

stew560
The Wire really is one of the best HBO shows out there, I just wonder what they will do next season. And I know it's a reality show, but "The Mole" was probably the best I had seen out there (Well, besides Amazing Race). What was great about The Mole was that noone got "voted off" there was a test at the end of each week, and the person that got the most questions wrong was voted off. It really made for a better show with less "alliances" and more strategy. I'm guessing the complexity of it all is what killed it. Season 2 was put on "hold" for 9 months after 3 episodes (at least they did bring it back), and then they cast the final blow with "Celebrity Mole". Stitch
Space Ghost Coast to Coast needs to be brought back in to regular circulation on Adult Swim. They have Cartoon Planet on at 5:30AM EST but it just isn't nearly as good as SGC2C
FlyingScooter
This season I've started watching Project Runway. That show is so far removed from anything I know that i've been hooked on it. Anyone else watch it?
TheGreatOne
Love Monkey on CBS was a good show...but CBS got so impatient, they cancelled it already. Running it against Law and Order didn't help ratings. I also love Cheap Seats on ESPN Classic. It's basically Mystery Science Theatre 3000 meets the sports world. Luxo
Invader Zim was awesome! It had a dark and very sick humor that I loved and at the same time found extremely creepy.

dougr
Futurama is SERIOUSLY underrated over here in the UK, IMO at least. I love the Simpsons too, but I think Futurama has more intelligent humour and really don't understand why it was cancelled after four seasons when I think they could easily have carried on for a good few years after that, they've managed to think of SIXTEEN YEARS worth of episodes for the Simpsons after all! Bring it back!!! Fox can bite my shiny metal ass! REMEMBER ME! Bender dances
Blazen_AZN
The Honeymooners! (from the 1950s) I swear, If all these other old shows like I Love Lucy can still be played all the time on Fox, I don't see why this one shouldn't! Last year they TRIED to make a Honeymooners movie. Apparently it was no good and i didnt bother my time. I read reviews form people who were fans of the original, they said it was crap. At least the Family Guy writers appreciate it, you see Honeymooner references alot in that show. Left-:Family Guy // Right: Honeymooners

Slacking
Most of these may have been mentioned already, but here is a list of shows I think are underrated: Arrested Development (I'll miss ya) The Mole (Anderson Cooper hosted editions) American Gothic Wonderfalls Action The Critic Sledge Hammer! And my current favorite guilty pleasures: (they could be considered as underrated I guess) The Soup The Flavor of Love!!!
coaster_maniac
Oh, where do I begin?? ALL of the Nickelodeon classicks: Doug Clarissa Explains it All Hey Dude Salute Your Shorts Rocko's Modern Life Angry Beavers The Adventures of Pete and Pete The Secret World of Alex Mack Are you Afraid of the Dark And, a couple of non-Nick TV Shows: Absolutely Fabulous (HILARIOUS) Mad About You Who's Line is it Anyway That's my list! P.S - I wish Nickelodeon would put out ALL of it's old shows on DVD.. they've got Pete and Pete and Clarissa on DVD (but they're only the first seasons of each).. so I guess it's just a matter of time! Slacking
Hey Dude was the best! There are many Nickelodeon shows I would love to watch again, even if I didn't particularly like then when I was younger. I'm talking about shows like: Fifteen Don't Just Sit There Welcome Freshman You Can't Do That on Television and of course Nick Jr.'s Pinwheel! And then game shows that aren't on GAS such as Summer's Double Dare, Make the Grade, and Think Fast I think I just showed my 80's-ness

stingrock23
Definitely Pete & Pete. that may be the best show that pretty much no one has heard of. Lancelot Link is another one I'm sure not too many people would recognize. That's an all-time classic in my book.
