I've been doing some online research and have found three amusement parks in Palestine (West Bank / Gaza Strip) that have now been added to RCDB. Surprisingly, there are 5 credits in the territory. Have any well-traveled TPR members been on any of these?

WOW . . . that video. I know it's sort of cliché to say "this looks like someone designed this in Roller Coaster Tycoon" but man this really does look like someone designed this in Roller Coaster Tycoon. This reminds me a lot of the Looping Toboggan . . .

That looping coaster looks like a death machine. Isn't that circular loop the same shape as the ones that used to break people's necks in the 20's?

Based on the video, it looks like the only thing that would prevent that from happening is the very slow speed at which the trains appear to travel thru the top of the loop - in the top of that loop you might even get the brief sensation of falling since the centrifugal force is probably not enough to pin riders to their seats. The other thing is I think I'd fall asleep on that lift hill - that has to be one the slowest I've ever seen!

I think the left takes five times longer then the ride itself. I wonder how many times it doesn't make it through the loop? It does go through pretty slow.

After watching that video, I have a few points I like to make:

- Doggone that lift hill is soooo . . . slow!

- That's it? A slow lift hill, a circular loop, a little dip, and nothing else? Well, it may not be much to those that have ridden tons of killer coasters here in the USA, but the coaster does run and any coaster that runs is much better than any coaster that doesn't run.

- Looping Star at Jolly Rogers Piers located at Ocean City , Maryland has this ride beat hands down!

"I'm not perfect; I just love to ride!!!

Thanks for sharing this.

That coaster barely clears the loop and is a one trick pony (not even a good trick), but it looks like the riders enjoyed it due to a lack of riding coasters anywhere else. It's looks like a coaster designed on Roller Coaster Tycoon by someone playing it for the first time. I've seen better designed coasters in North Korea (of the ones still operating there). By the way, has any well traveled TPR member (Asian or European members - obviously not American members) been to DPRK and ridden any of the coasters or been to their "Funfair" parks?

That loop appears to be the only one in the world that is wider than it is tall. The "engineering" for that ride is just completely wrong. And how tiny are those cars?! Like there's not enough hardship in that part of the world already...

...and the only one without any type of support on the loop. Cutting edge? Or completely stupid?

What the heck is pulling that coaster up the lift hill? An 80-year old man?

Jeff Johnson. Oh wait you said 80 not 8,000 year old.

The Schwarzkopf Thriller in it's original layout had two nearly circular loops at the beginning - so it's possible with good calculation.

Honestly I've to say that thses coasters look well mantained.

Something tells me that whoever made this coaster isn't as good with calculations as Anton Schwarzkopf

Pretty sure this video is the only successful run of this coaster.

Those quick vertical transitions looks killer on that looping one, bet the airtime is epic though, since the train whips through them pretty quickly

SooperDooperLooper, MindBender, and Shockwave all have perfect circle loops, so I don't know why everyone is freaking out about the the shape of the loop.

The coaster looks like a poorly made knock-off Arrow peice of shiz, but there have been coasters with perfect circle loops in the past that still operate today.

I haven't a clue as to who designed and built this ride (perhaps Marquis de Sade Industries), but I'm glad the locals seemed to enjoy it.
