EPfan1 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 the pregnant girl walkthrough looks quite funny very...educational!
bert425 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I'm waiting for SixFlags to try to one-up the Girlie walkthru with the newest dark-ride attraction at SFOT: "Hemorrhoid -- close encounters at Uranus!"
robbalvey Posted April 5, 2013 Author Posted April 5, 2013 Today's video! KidTums' first ever SkyCoaster! EVERY REPLY YOU MAKE HERE WILL GIVE YOU ONE ENTRY TO WIN A BAG-O-CRAP! TPDave Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I would never have done that at her age!! Looks like she had a blast
Vtafro Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 A little upset with myself, still have yet to ride a sky coaster. Will need to remedy that soon.
cfc Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I would never have done that at her age!! Looks like she had a blast Hell, I wouldn't do that at my age! Way to go, KT!
Nrthwnd Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Me and Betty did the SkyCoaster - My First Time Too. Amazing rush. But then, things started getting tight around my chest, as we slowed down in our swinging back and forth. I panicked a bit, but got myself to breath slowly and not think of....throwing up over the guys catching us, HA! But - can't believe KidTums does/did it! Very outgoing kid, she is. And I think the parents have 'some influence', hmmm? WAYTOGO Kristen!
TopThrillAmusments Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I haven't even got to do one of these yet!!! Good for her!!!! Looks like she had a blast
VinTheAttendant Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Wow! I kept myself away from Skycoasters until I was 16 years old! Even then and even now I'm still too much of a wuss to even look down on the way up. Kidtums has nerves of steel and a smile that can cure cancer!
markysharky17 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 She's brave considering I still haven't been on one. How old is she? She's a young thrill seeker!
BenFreeze Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Nice video! I haven't actually tried a SkyCoaster yet, and I'm not sure if I want to.
magnum chris Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 She handled that like a champ... You think she'll ride the 300ft one now at fun spot? I love that one. Its such a amaxing free fsllimg around 100 ft. I ride it every time I'm in the Orlando area.
EPfan1 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Boomerangs must be awesome! Haven't been on one yet...ah yes it looks pretty nice with these colors! Very unique
TopThrillAmusments Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 The closest thing I've came to a sky coaster was laying down on a swing set at a park when I was little lol
bert425 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Today's video! KidTums' first ever SkyCoaster! EVERY REPLY YOU MAKE HERE WILL GIVE YOU ONE ENTRY TO WIN A BAG-O-CRAP! (Yes, multiple comments DO count for more than one - but don't be stupid and post like 20 times in a row and keep your posts ON TOPIC with the videos!) wow. .look at that. . no screaming at all! (tho I don't blame her for not releasing Mommy's arm to "wave at the TPR friends on the ground"). brave, brave kiddo. never mind paying the up-charge. . . they could not pay me enough to do one of these. And I'm not all that afraid of heights! yes, a child is braver than I. . but I'm not ashamed. . . no. . I'm not!
EPfan1 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Kidtums is courageous!! At her age I would have been wet in the pants sadly, there's no sky coaster near my hometown
Mr Chris Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 How tender. The first Sky Coaster I ever did was with my mom at SFMM.
ProwlerPrey Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Well it's official. KidTums is way more brave than I am. At her age I wouldn't even ride a normal rollercoaster. Way to go!
1pizza14 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Skycoasters look fun, but I feel they are a bit on the short side no? Are they worth the $20 or so price per person?
TyRush Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Sweet! How many coaster has she been able to ride?! I remeber at her age which was like 9 years ago i guess, i was afraid to ride Sooperdooperlooper!
rcjp Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 ^^ Same happened to me with space mountain mission two at Disneyland Paris.
robbalvey Posted April 5, 2013 Author Posted April 5, 2013 Skycoasters look fun, but I feel they are a bit on the short side no? Are they worth the $20 or so price per person? It depends on what you're into. They give a completely different kind of thrill than a roller coaster, mainly due to the complete open feeling you have, and it's also because of this that they have to charge extra because the capacity is so low. Although, I think at one point it was reported that SFMM's Skycoaster once did a higher hourly capacity than Deja Vu...but don't quote me on that!
