cfc
The dive loop on the Ultra Twister at Rusutsu Resort in Japan is quite insane. It makes you plow through the rest of the "twisty" parts at such a speed that you nearly rip the fabric of space-time!
dropzonefan
^LOL HAHAHAHAHA The video for that ride on TPR's channel is hilarious!... Does it really kick as much @$$ as much as the video says it does?.... And how smooth is it? Ok.. Getting on topic now... Also found the trick track on the Skyrider/King Cobra stand up coasters to be pretty weird, withe the Skyrider one making you feel like you'll hit the fence on your left.. Also, although I've never rode it, I always thought the double up on Reverchon spinning coasters looked pretty crazy (anyone experienced it themselves?) Meteornotes
^^That is still one of the strangest, yet coolest rides I've ever been on. dt
3Mutts
The Bent Cuban Eight on G Force at Drayton Manor has to be one of the oddest elements out there:
Ed Farmer
^I know I'm in a very small minority, but when riding that when in Georgia I actually quite enjoyed myself. It wasn't smooth, but it wasn't uncomfortable either. And that element is certainly something that is incredibly odd and disorienting. My thoughts as well. We never skip over it when we visit SFOG. dropzonefan
Here's another one... Not so much a coaster element, but certianly a weird coaster in general.

Coaster Cow
^The long straightaway after the first drop? The two strange loops that don't really fit the supports? The triple up into a stupid tight swooping curve? It's pretty strange to me, and Hopkins never really got to build more than a few because of its strangeness. They also made the equally strange Dragon at Adventureland, Cliffhanger at Ghost Town in the Sky, and Desert Storm at Castle's and Coasters, to name a few. At some point they must've realized building roller coasters was not quite like building log flumes...
i<3coasters
This strange loop on Desert Storm at Castles n' Coasters in Phoenix puzzled me when I rode it. The ride also features a more traditional loop, so I'm not sure what was going on here. Artistic flourish, or ...?

Subject_12
I've ridden that ride at least 12 times. It's still weird.

XYZ
Well, guess its too late to change the thread title, but if you have some f***ed up layouts that are worth mentioning, feel free to post them. This is an example of a coaster with an insane looking layout.

FLIPDUDE
as you can see in the pic it's called Wild Wind, and it's not the only one of it's kind, it's actually a coaster model! There's several of them on RCDB!

The Ultra Twister is suprisingly smooth, but very intense. (There is a bit of jolt when it backs in the chain lift, though.) It's one of the craziest rides I've ever encountered. pyrocoasterkid
The trick track on the vertical loop on Tennessee Tornado... I've ridden Tennessee Tornado probably 4-5 times and for the life of me can't remember a "trick track" section on the vertical loop? Is it pretty minimal that I may not notice or what? Looking at pictures and video, I don't really see anything out of the ordinary either. Edited July 17, 2013 by pyrocoasterkid

Tanks4me05
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the mini-dive-loop yet. EPA.. What coaster is this? It's the "Wild Wind," designed by Interpark. They made about a half dozen of them. IIRC, one of them is traveling the European fair circuit by the name of Xenox.
Wes
Did anyone mention Everest's multiple switch tracks?
Pyrozooka0
The switches aren't the only unique element on Everest, Cant really think of any other coasters with the infamous "spiral that feels suspiciously like a loop". Even if that isn't very special, it is still the BEST VEKOMA EVER!
Blatch
How about the "bent coat hanger" section of Fujiyama at Fuji-Q? Basically, think of the aforementioned trick track on sterioids. This was the point where the science of hyper coasters simply went too far: (I couldn't find a direct picture of it. Look towards the middle, on the left side)
gerstlaueringvar
Nearly every element on Outlaw Run. That coaster is a revolution in the wooden coaster industry I think.
