ScottBrown Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Did KMG have any information on Sicko ? I was curious as if the seats spin free or are motorized
sillyspook13 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Thanks for once again providing such great coverage of IAAPA! Also, though I'm a day late on this, the Mammoth raft looks like the La-Z-Boy of slide rafts!
robbalvey Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Did KMG have any information on Sicko ? I was curious as if the seats spin free or are motorized Nothing....nothing at all. We looked. We asked. Nothing.
BeemerBoy Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 So Connie's pie was pretty good, huh? Awesome coverage, guys!
ScottBrown Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Did KMG have any information on Sicko ? I was curious as if the seats spin free or are motorized Nothing....nothing at all. We looked. We asked. Nothing. Oh well I guess we will just have to wait and see - The afterburner is already an amazing ride so the new motion provided by the rotating seats should make it even more incredible
Angry_Gumball Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Finally, I know how to pronounce "Zierer." Kinda rhymes with "Pier." I ended up watching (more of listening) to the second video during the last half hour at work while working on some web stuff. Made the last half hour more entertaining!
Migs310 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Hey guys, can you find out if ProSlide is building a Bowl slide at Morey's Pier? Jack Morey has already spilled the beans about a ProSlide Racer coming, but there is hints of a Bowl. Thanks!
ScottBrown Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I absolutely love the new S&S ride - Robb and Elissa on that together is so like me and my partner, he refuses to ride anything with me that I can spin myself - A ride like that has amazing potential to be amped up as a major thrill ride
asimowalk Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Have you guys visited Mondial's booth yet? I really want to see what their new product is like. (I can't recall the name at the moment...)
scottjenkins Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Robbbbbbb I think Scott in Wales GB deserves an IAAPA Bag of crap!! ))
burningstroller Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I've been playing a little drinking game. Everytime I hear "hotness" in the videos I'm taking a shot. Guess who's not going to work tomorrow....
robbalvey Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 Did KMG have any information on Sicko ? I was curious as if the seats spin free or are motorized Nothing....nothing at all. We looked. We asked. Nothing. Wait, sorry, yes, I think we do have something. It was Mondial's new thing I was thinking about that didn't have any info....
OISU8P Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 (edited) It's the killer robot fish! Was Doctor Evil there developing his "Sharks with frickin laser beams" ? Sorry, that picture just screamed that out to me for some reason even though it has been ages since I have seen that movie. Edited November 17, 2011 by OISU8P
chadster Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Hmmm, the Sicko looks like something similar I saw at the Texas State Fair this year, I need to pull my pictures and compare...
swiver Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 (edited) So this is my first time ever going to the IAAPA Expo, and after seeing it all, I have two words: mind blowing. It's really overwhelming to see literally EVERYTHING the amusement industry has to offer. I have gotten the opportunity to meet so many new people and see so many things that I had never thought I would get to. If anyone is on the fringe about going, do it. It is really an amazing experience that can't be truly understood until you go. See you next year IAAPA! Edited November 17, 2011 by swiver
ScottBrown Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Sicko looks well.... sick! What do you expect from KMG they are very sick individuals
sillyspook13 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Red Velvet funnel cake??? This looks absolutely amazing!
PCW_Nut Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Great coverage. Are Dippin' Dots there this year?
itbe73 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I love the IAAPA posts. IAAPA, E3, and AVN! So HARD to choose a favorite!
megalyte Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I always love ProSlide's mini models! Great coverage by the TPR team!
chadster Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I was wrong, this is what I saw, looks similar to the new Mondial thingy tho Crazy ride that I thought was a new mondial thingy.
Chroniq Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Just wondering if anyone has seen a report from the media about this event. "Disney at Dawn Take a very exclusive tour to the Walt Disney World® Resort and see it as few others can. The tour begins at dawn – literally – and you will experience Disney’s Hollywood Studios® before the gates open, before the guests arrive, and before the magic begins. Jim MacPhee, Senior Vice President, WDW Parks and Next Generation Experience* will greet you upon arrival and provide an overview of Walt Disney World® Park Operations. The experience continues with an escorted behind-the scenes visit to several areas of the park. Finally you will enjoy breakfast and the opportunity to ask questions of several senior Disney leaders. *Guest speakers are subject to change." It took place on Monday morning and I haven't seen a report on any site.
