CoasterJunkie
Well I bit the bullet and paid 2.69 this morning. Highest I saw was $2.89 at the local Super Walmart. Now we are getting reports that some of the places are out of gas and are closed. So where are ya and how much are you paying? Are you having trouble getting gas yet? derwood
There are a couple of stations in Indy that are at 3.25-3.50....most are 2.79-2.89. I filled up my Honda yesterday for 2.49. Hattuchili
Here in Bremen (Germany) I have to pay 1.32 Eur for 1 liter. That is 4.99 Eur for 1 gallon. Okay, that means 4.99 Eur = 6.16 USD for 1 gallon normal gas! Is there anyone who have to pay more? --Sören

disneygurlz2s
$35 to fill up my Corolla's tank Girl!! I have a Corolla too! What year is yours?? Mine's an '04, got rid of a Sienna minivan a year ago in June and damn glad now I did. The status of a mini van or SUV or whatever is not worth going broke. Don't drive EVERYWHERE (use your bike to see your neighbor), don't buy SUV's and trucks (drivers of them are the ones who complain the most), and try to realize that the rest of the world pays about twice as much... Imhotep
Im probably going to be trading in my gas hog this week, Im sure going to miss it though . gas prices are rediculous!! $44 dollars got me just under 3/4 of a tank!! Granted I have to use 93 octane, but thats still rediculous.

USRoadTripper
I remember just a few years ago (2001 maybe) that I got $.85 per gallon gas in rural Georgia! Nice to think about the good ole' days of paying $14 to fill up my car versus the more than $30 now! I'm just glad my big coaster road trip is out of the way for this year! -Julie (Not USRoadTripping any time soon)
smells_like_team_disney
And we can even invite Robb into the bunch, he has an 05! Does that make Robb and me Corolla brothers ? Anyway, I filled up my '05 model (at $2.74/gallon) for $27 last night.
Wackyboxer
I stopped and filled up our van this morning at $2.79. This afternoon when I picked my kids up from school the same station had it at $3.19. There are at least a couple of stations in South Bend that are at $3.49. Of an equal or even greater concern to many of us in the north is the expected huge rise in the cost of heating oil for this winter. It's going to be scary. BarryH
^^I got a Prizm. Can I join the Corolla gang? Anyway, gas in SW Florida is $2.72/gallon for the cheap stuff. I expect that figure to rise soon.

Kroger8
On Fox News today it said that Greenville SC had the lowest gas prices at $2.42, but every station in the area has gone up to around $2.99 except one, at $2.79. In Easley at least.
ebl
It's in the $2.85 and up range here in Ventura County. Believe it or not, I can get over 30mpg in my CR-V if I take a long road trip. Not bad for a small SUV. Eric
Imhotep
I just saw on the news.. over 5 dollars in ATL for the CHEAP stuff!! That gas station had to be by the airport or something, usually gas is more expensive by airports.
Token Yankee Guy
Gas prices here jumped 21 cents from yesterday. There's a gas station that has gas for 3.49 down in Danbury.
