That's some cool info regarding this. Never realized that the skateboards were actually name brand skateboards, just thought they were Walmart skateboards. Hopefully they'll leave this thing up for a while.

Caught during a refill session. Gives you an idea how huge this thing really is. Who says that ball pits don't exist anymore?

In line right now with Elissa behind me and another TPR member in front of me!

^^^^ Great read, I loved how they just did it for fun. I haven't seen any ads on the site, it's free to play, shipping is free, and they had to pay to construct, operate, stock the machine and run the site, I can't imagine they would really have a cash flow from this. Just something fun for everyone to take part in and maybe even win a prize. Being in world we live in now with people losing money, and things becoming more and more expensive, I just find it really awesome that they made this and than ran it for free!

^ I'm just hoping that this goes viral enough to land them some really BIG design contracts. They totally deserve it!!!

Then again...while it pays the bills, doing design work for giant companies sometimes isn't quite as fun.

I've tried sharing this game on a couple other sites I belong to but has not had any kind of turnout like we've seen here. I think it seems that it's had the largest impact on TPR so far, with how easily it's been to line up with other TPR members.

You know, I had a theory about this ... we are all used to waiting in lines!

Woah- that's actually a good point! Although now, a lot of people just leave their computer while in line to do other stuff for 6 hours

"More than 500 people in line" yeah, I'm going to guess that's mostly TPR members. This is going to take just a little while possibly...

This game is a HUGE win for the company, just think of all of the marketing possibilities with large corporations who want to do a promotional event. I really don't think when they were designing and building this work of greatness that they ever thought the popularity would be so wide spread. Good job to them, I'm hooked. Maybe Six Flags could use this for grabbing front of line tickets for the new Texas Giant.

*Edit* I almost burnt my dinner watching this crazy game, waiting for my, um, "grandmothers" turn, lol.

A little over an hour now, coming down to the wire here. Hmm...that crossbow's still sitting there, been there since I got in line this morning...want it! What I'll use it for, I don't know...I just want it!

^^^I don't believe you can get any balls that are up against a wall. I tried to get one pretty far over (just not touching the glass) and it wasn't even close even with the claw as far as it went.

That's why the crossbow's probably sat there all day then. Maybe try for another skateboard?
