Shockwave Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I'm sick of Manchester's bad drivers today. One person crashed his car into a truck and caused a 6 mile tailback which delayed me getting into work big time!
Louise Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 ^ Ugh, kinda glad I stayed home today. Oxford Road drives me insane, it's bad enough around there as it is but if there's a jam anywhere within about a twenty mile radius, it gets about ten times worse.
DATman Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 My bro's at SFMM, and I have Drama today, so I couldn't go....
Slacking Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I'm taking the GRE in a couple hours. Â I hate standardized tests!
Erik Johnson Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 i found out my grade in science. after getting an A on all my tests, and turning in all of my work, the son of a b*tch had the nerve to gice me a C. i swear to god, if i ever see him outside of school i will- Â Did you talk to your teacher about it..It is possible they accidently made a mistake in the grade book. It happens sometimes.
the sound Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 ^ reminds me of the time that Lisa SImpson got a B for conduct. Â "I've never gotten a B before, i feel so dirty"
Shockwave Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 ^ Ugh, kinda glad I stayed home today. Oxford Road drives me insane, it's bad enough around there as it is but if there's a jam anywhere within about a twenty mile radius, it gets about ten times worse. Â Staying in is what I'll be doing all weekend. That and working stupid shifts all week.
Slacking Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Like I said earlier, I hate standardized tests!! Â Took the GRE tonight, and I never would ahve expected it, but I ended up in a battle against the clock. I obsessed over a math problem and spent to long on it, but finished just in time. Â The verbal section stressed me out too, too many strange words! All styarted looking like gibberish to me. Â Writing section was oddly the least stressful. Â I'm ok with my scores though, 650 on Math and 580 on Verbal, and of course I don't know my writing score yet.
Angry_Gumball Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I, along with 20 other employees, got laid off from work today, thanks to Yes Video...(work of the devil). Ritz Camera has been one of our major stores we did DVD transferring for for 15 years now and they decide to switch over to Yes Video because of their automated transfer machines and stuff. So what will I do now for the time being? I dunno just yet...
Nrthwnd Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 We just came back from across the street, checking out one of the old homes on our block, totally renovated and back on the selling block... Â They're asking $700,000 Cdn for it...and have offers from Open House already... Â Â Not a real rant, so much as a real SHOCK!!! Â 'Nuff said.
Luxo Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Getting snowed in sucks! Â Although, I did get some housework done, and I've read a good portion of The Shining.
Wes Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 The amount of thread locking I've had to do in the past hour. Â wes (i'm going outside)
waterviper Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Ive noticed that Wes!!! Ive noticed certain pests on here who keeps posting stupid posts and asking stupid questions. They wont back off and is relentless like a damn nat that wont stop bothering you. It pisses me off seeing it. I can imagine you Wes who has to deal with it. I dont blame you!! Wish they can read the damn rules and contribute some thought to TPR instead of making annoying posts!!
Ed Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 College starts again tommorow after having a week off.. Â And i've done practically no work!
Louise Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 The amount of thread locking I've had to do in the past hour. Â wes (i'm going outside) Â I'd like to echo my annoyance at dumb posts. Â And also add... Â Can I Request a POV Of You Being Banned? Â LOL!!
ebl Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 People writing "tho" and "altho" on message boards. To me, it's a most annoying shortcut. Is adding a "ugh" to complete the word too much of a task? Â Not a major issue, but annoying nonetheless. Â Eric
ParkTrips Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 You know what grinds my gears? The number of idiots posting crap has grown exponentially, resulting in a similar bacterial-like growth of closed threads. Â Dumbasses!
Wes Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 ^ Yeah, it's quite annoying, but any time you start getting a ton of new members on the site, the amount of crap is going to increase. It's good that Robb and Elissa care about the quality of the boards, because it would be really easy for forums this large to go to hell in a handbasket.
woah_killa Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 My Geometry teach had to get pregnant so we don't have a real teacher!!! Basically I'm having to teach myself with an idiot sub bumbling around the room...
niiicolaaah Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 My car died today, and i have no money to fix it. Â After the uk trip, i will REALLY have no money. Â My mom is telling me how stupid I am for going, and I'm starting to agree. She's getting to the point where she nags me several times a day and I have nothing to say back to her anymore. Â Not a happy Nicole today, lol! Â *edit* I just found out that if i had driven it any more it could have caught on fire, cause oil was leaking out all over! and it's going to cost $650 to fix! Mother effer!
Hattuchili Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 ^ Oh, that sounds so bad and sad, Nicole! I hope you find a way for both problems!  --Sören
ebl Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 ^^ Sorry to hear about your car, Nicole I've been there, too. My last car had $1200 worth of oil leaks alone. Then there was the rear differential, drive shaft, and the list went on. Â Eric
coasterfreak101 Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 RAR! Some [bleeper] was running down the hall and he/she [bleeping] knocked my lunch out of my hands. There were names afterwards, such as [bleep] and [bleeper]! Then I just kept walking, but I was TICKED at that [bleeper]!!! Â --Tyler "Wonders who will be the first to post 'People who say [bleep] a lot tick me off!" Hopkins
Wes Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 There's this secretary who sits in a cubicle near mine, and I hate her so much. She's offensively loud, she cusses people out on the phone, she makes obnoxious personal calls all day long, and she's generally one of the most annoying people on the face of the planet. Â I mostly try to tune her out, but every once in awhile she drops a gem that I have to write down. Â Just a minute ago, I heard her say,"Thanks Dr. Fred, where do I blow ya?" Â Â Â
