I turn on the radio this morning and the first thing I hear is a Christmas jingle for some jewelers  . WTF? Wasn't Halloween just two nights ago? Whatever happened to Thanksgiving? I miss Thanksgiving . Thanks to all this over-glorified comercializtion, Christmas is officially dead to me .

My male friends are like the coolest guys in the world, but I've wrecked friendships by getting involved

and you can't have friends with benefits because then you don't know if they're friends because they like you, or because of the benefits.

well, you could always remove the benefits and see what happens, but reality bites.

*has no guy rants at the moment*

^ EXACTLY.

Don't even get me started on my supposedly BEST friend, who WANTS benefits becuase of one little incident. Ugh!

I HATE MY FILM TEACHER

DO I GET TO GO OUT ON HALLOWEEN? NO, I'M STUCK EDITING A MOVIE, AND SO FAR IT IS NOT WORKING

What do you use for editing?

Avid, but I'm still learning the program. The film was actually pretty good, she was really impressed with the stop-motion. I just need to clean up my subtitles a bit, and it will be awesome

I had maybe five friends who turned into "Friends With Benefits". It didn't wreck the friendships, but we definitely never got as close as I got with my other friends (the ones without benefits).

^ I think me and my "benefit"-wanting friend have got the situation under control for the moment, we'll see how it goes.

When myself and the ex split, we divvied up gig/festival tickets and I obviously got the Ben Folds ones seeing as I'm a HUGE fan and he's really not that interested, was only coming along because I asked him to. Anyway, I can't find anyone to come with me! How does Folds not have more fans over here? He sells out the mid-sized venues with ease, yet out of all the people I know, only one is interested, and he's not really someone I'm keen to spend an evening with. I know there's no accounting for taste but... THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT GOOD MUSIC IS!!!

Last time I ever order from www.easybuy2000.com as I ordered a GBA X-ROM for backing up/playing NES games. They were out of stock and supposed to get it this week but they changed it up. Now, I have to wait a whole month 1/2 for them to push it back again. I'm ready to cancel my order with them.

End rant.

Still Sick...

The Dr. gave me nasal spray...wow, thank you so freakin much...how about making my tonsils back to normal size and not having them restricting my airway!

that would be nice again...

^I haven't gotten the prescription filled yet. I'm kind of scared of it because the last time I used a nasal spray (that Zicam stuff to try and shorten your cold) I ended up with my first ever Sinus Infection, and it sucked!!!

I'll probably try it this weekend, but thanks for the reminder Kip!

I highly dislike it when people look at you weird for not using condiments on certain foods. Example, I like to eat Chicken Nuggets as they are but everyone thinks I am weird for not using a sauce. The Nuggets are fine as they are ... leave me be

^ You're not alone. I, too, prefer food with little or no "sauce," as it were. I get tired of people who seem to think they know what's best for me, whether it's food, activities, whatever.

See, I'm 46 years old, more than old enough to make decisions for myself.

Today, I will make it official. Among the wide variety of extreme sports, Driving especially in CA will be considered an extreme sport. Today, I saw someone just barely make it through a R/R crossing gate. Instead of being a smart person and stoping when red lights flash and the arms drop, the guy races against the arms. I was amazed to see where humanity is going today and how the future will be. Seconds later, an AmTrak train was flying through. With how much more ignorant people are getting, driving will be more dangerous and us smart/safe drivers will take on this new extreme sport of driving.

^ Collisions with trains are fairly common here in SoCal. And now that the MTA has a new busway, which is essentially like a light rail line but using buses, collisions between them and cars will be common. In fact, the line has been open only a week and there've been two serious accidents (drivers ran red lights) on the same day!

Amen brother!! I hate sauce on my food. People think I'm weird but hey there the weird ones for putting extra crap onto whatever there eating. I don't know what it's like in the US but over here if you want a sandwich from a shop then you HAVE to like mayonaise as there all caked in the stuff

You and I both. I like to eat my nuggets with sauce, but I also like to eat my fries plain. People always think I'm crazy that I don't want ketchup. It ruins the taste! I only want ketchup if the fries aren't that good.

Don't knock this until you've tried it: I used to eat both my McNuggets and my fries plain, but I now buy a McFlurry and dip them in the ice cream. Seriously, I know it sounds weird, but somehow it just works.

Why do people on message boards quote the person right above them? Didn't we just read it? Heck, just put a ^ before your post. That way, everyone will know that you're replying to the person right above.

Message boards are so much easier to read that way. Less clutter.

I agree.

This has always bothered me and I think it is just God's way of messing with humanity. Have you ever noticed when you try to be quiet, absolutely everything you touch makes a loud noise!
